@marise32 oh ok.. if you want to take the risk go for it.. ang risk lang dyan is kung ma assess yung 2yrs exp mo as relevant to the occupation kaya be careful sa pipiliin mong occupation.. pero mas advisable sana kung more than 2yrs yung exp mo para ma buffer ka.. but if you want to take the risk its up to you dahil magiging worth it naman yung result if ever.

@Hunter_08 thank you po sa advice. Noted. Medyo hindi rin ako sure sa occupation since I am working as a DBA pero ang balak ko sana applyan is software engr. since wala kasing dba sa list.

Hi need help, currently naggagather po ako info on how to migrate in AU under this visa "Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) (Points-tested) stream". My husband and I are both in IT industry and we have a 9month old daughter. Kung magaapply ako madadala ko din ba ang mag-ama ko and if ever ako ung primary applicant, does it mean na ako lang yung pwede magwork sa AU?

@ykseihpos pwd po kayo ung maging main applicant then sponsored nio ung husband and baby. If im not mistaken may dag2 points ung family kesa solo lng ang pag apply.

@ykseihpos you can both work if you will be granted a visa.. you or him can be a main applicant and the baby and one of you can be dependent. assess nyo po muna kung kanino mas mataas na point sa inyong dalawa if ever mag aapply kayo for migration.

@ykseihpos @Xynned I have not heard and aware of such thing. As far as I know, No bearing whether single or family ang applicants. As a migration agent, that's not a factor we consider when assessing our clients. It will only come handy if partner can add 5 points.

@RheaMARN1171933 @ykseihpos yes po, sorry for the wrong context. Ang dagdag points na ibig kong sabihin is if ung sponsored spouse mameet ung criteria for the additional 5 points.

@ykseihpos if hindi nagbibigay yung company mo ng COE with JD kailangan mong gumawa ng affidavit stating yung start date mo, hours of work and detailed JD of your work then papirmahan mo sa manager mo or TL mo after pa notaryo mo.

@joexeth better updated yung COE na ipapasa nyo kasi dun mag babase yung ACS kung hanggang kailan included yung work exp.. reminder lang din na dapat may detailed job description yung COE.

Yes, need ipa CTC lahat ng docs na ipapasa nyo sa ACS.

Thank you @Hunter_08, yes may detailed COE na kasi ung 2016. Hirap mag paalam na kumuha ulit since ung boss na direkta ang sumunod.

ginamint namin ung 2016 coe for online school kasi, at nka grad na sya as bachelor last 2017, kaya lang hndi namin ma declare yang 2017 educ nya dahil as 1 yr experience lang ma count sa kanya.

plan namin i declare ung unang educ which is Diploma in IT (2 yr course at Meralco Foundation) whereby the application should send together with RPL. since hndi enough yung ma credit sa education nya.

tama po ba? na isabay ung rpl during skills assesment?

@joexeth you can still used the COE with JD that was issued last 2016 but you have to get an updated generic COE from the company to count the exp up to date.

regarding sa edu I'm not sure if they will accept the Diploma course(2yr course). kung graduate na sya ng bachelor's degree yun ang much better na gamitin nya kasi baka hidi sya ma assess as suitable if 2yr course yung ibigay nyo. yung RPL route is only for non-related IT course pero IT yung work exp mo.. so kung yung course nya is IT naman no need for RPL route.

Hello po mga idol! Im new here. I recently decided to try out for the 189/190 AU visa.
As of now po, Im trying to gather documents para sa ACS assessment.
Im a BSIT graduate po from UST with 5 years of experience as a software developer.

I have a few questions lang po:
1. Ano pong section ang UST? If i graduated with honors po. Is there a chance po ba na maassess ako as having a degree comparable to AU Bachelor's degree?
2. Since nagdeduct po yung ACS ng years of experience, do you think po ba na i have a chance to claim at least 3 years (ie. -2 years of exp)
3. For stat dec po, kailangan po ba sobrang specific ng job description? So in my case, do i need to give details po ba about the technologies im using (e.g. java, etc)?
4. Lastly, sa Singapore po kasi ako based ngayon pero I will try to get
stat dec from my previous managers ko po sa Pinas, is it better na sa pinas ko po sya ipa notary? Sa atin po diba affidavit and not stat dec usually?

Nung sa Pinas pa po kasi ako naka base, most of my teammates are in SG. Ngayon po sa SG na ko (working with a different company). If I were to ask a stat dec from my previous teammates in SG, would it be an issue po ba with ACS? Since yung company ko is the Philippine branch and Im getting my stat dec from somebody working in SG office?

1. UST is in section 1
2. most probably bachelor's degree ang ma aassess sayo with 2yrs deduction
3. if your company can give COE with detailed JD no need for stat dec but if not you need to create your own and ask your manager/TL to sign ang pa notaryo and CTC. detailed JD is what are your roles and responsibilities of your position in the company and yes including the technologies.
4. yes sa pinas mo din ipapa notaryo and CTC.. ako lahat ng docs ko even mga COE ko dto sa SG sa pinas ko pina CTC kasi mas mura.

@jaiiiiiiii walang problema kung SG based sila as long as higher position sayo meaning its either manager mo or TL mo.

@Hunter_08 Salamat sir! Ask ko lang din for statutory declaration, sa Pinas ba (or even SG), anong format po ang ginamit nyo? does it need to come from the law office or we can use any format?

@Hunter_08 Salamat Sir... pero nakalagay pag RPL route is for not enough educational points to support.. tama po ba? Pag isubmit kasi using latest degree from Lyceum 2017 graduate po sir. Mag count pa ng 3 years for experience and by that time is turning 39yo na mbbwasan ung points from age side nmn.

Try padin namin mg request ng generic COE as recomended po. Thank you sir.

I understand na pwede po tayong magrequest ng Statutory Declaration from a former colleague who's not working with the company anymore as long as na cover ng employment nya yung dates na i claim for. I'm wondering lang po if I need to put his own dates of employment (when he resigned) sa stat dec po?

For anyone here who had they're ACS assessment done.. paano po sila mag calculate ng years of experience? Do they include days in their calculation?

For example, if you have a gap of 7 days from one company to another:
Left company A on January 10
Joined company B on January 17

Will they properly calculate for the dates or icucutoff nila yung rest of January?
