As per DIBP website:
"Completed a degree, a higher degree, a diploma or a trade certificate that required at least two years of full-time study or training in an institution in or outside Australia and all instructions were in English."

To prove that you have functional English you must provide the following:
● copy of an award (being a degree, higher degree, diploma or trade certificate) that
required at least two (2) years of full-time study or training and all instruction (including
instruction received in other courses for which you were allowed credit) for that award
was conducted in English.

@VirGlySyl 457 has already been abolished. It has been replaced by TSS visa which is also a temporary visa. If the intention is to stay in Australia permanently, that’s not the best visa option. It may assure one of a job in Australia but it doesn’t assure one’s future in Australia. As an agent, I never recommend such path to those wanting to migrate. It’s a quick fix with no assurance of anything.

@VirGlySyl if he finds an employer that’s possible but it’s like aiming for the moon. It looks simple on paper but actually more complicated than 189/190/489. He might be waiting for nothing, ending up with so much time wasted. Best option would be 189,190 or 489 since he can do something about it now regardless if he finds an employer to sponsor him.

@RheaMARN1171933 hi po. I have a query about 489 visa for qld. My uncle’ skills have a condition that requires him to have a job offer for at least 12 mos to be able to apply in qld under 489. How is it different with 186 visa?

@aranayad job offer does not include the visa sponsorship. requirement lang sya sa mga 489 applicants for certain occupation. 186, the employer is willing to hire and sponsor him hangang makarating sa Australia.

@cacophony pede mo naman i separate and EOI for each visa type. gamit ka lng ibang e mail address.

kong iisang EOI sa dalawang visa type like 189 at 190. kong nainvite na ang eoi mo sa 189 at nag apply ka na visa automatic wala na din ang 190 mo kasi yung EOI mo wala na sa list na mga nagaantay ng invite kasi na invite ka na. per my understanding in one EOI isang invite lang ang makukuha mo.

Hi po! Ask ko lang kung ok lang ba magapply for Aus tourist visa kahit may submitted EOI ako for 189/190? Hindi po ba makakaaffect yun sa pag-grant ng tourist visa? and makakareceive pa rin po ba ako ng ITA kahit may pending tourist visa application?

@RejNaix11 Wala naman po magiging problema... EOI pa lang naman po and you can be invited anytime. Just be mindful of the restrictions to your Visitor visa once granted para walang complication sa later applications.

Sa highest qualification lang ba yung kukunin nila para ibebase sa "Qualification" section ng point system nila? May ongoing Diploma of IT ako ngayon so 10 points siya. If magkaka bachelor's degree ako, dun ba nila ibabase which is 15 points or i'aadd nila yung Diploma tsaka degree?

@nerflim i-consider lang po yung highest education qualification nyo. kung bachelor ang highest 15 pts lang po yun hindi po i-add ung 10 pts from diploma

was notified by the case officer na kailangan daw may CTC yung documents, kahit na most of my uploads were colored originals.

however, same time kami ng wife ko nagsubmit ng documents, pero siya walang notification.

anyway, napaCTC na namin documents namin and reuploaded, just waiting ulit.

@AA1219 hindi po kasi siya maconsider as qualification per se and wala din siya sa classification ng education. pag sa student visa, makakuha ka lang ng extra 5 points if you meet the australian study requirement.

Dear All,
Kapag po ba halimbawa nagresign ako sa current work ko na kasama sa pina-Assess ko sa EA at magkaroon ng new work na related pa din naman sa nominated skills ko, di ba pwede ko pa din xang i-claim sa EOI/Visa lodging?
sa Feb/March 2019 kasi, milestone +5points dahil magiging 8years na total working experience ko. Di ko kasi sure kung anung treatment kapag ganitong case.
