489 depende sa timeline ng state like sa NT 6 to 8 months sila nagrereply sa application mo. lucky for me after 6 month from my application nag feedback sila at positive nman. kong ako sau apply mo na lng ng pede na visa for you while waiting for invites

Hey mate, I am happy you got a 489... it is not the best visa but it definitely will bring you foot across...

@batman @TasBurrfoot better than nothing I must say. These days, getting granted an NT nomination is an achievement on its own. More so if you achieved it by yourself like how Batman did :)

@jzksrn14 nagrequest muna ako ng certificate of board ratings may cut off sila sa express so dapat maaga ka and fee is 200. Then after nun nagpa authenticate ako ng board ratings and original.certificate. dapat dala mo yung original docs and photocopy. Dala mo rin dapat yung prc id.

@TasBurrfoot thanks mate, i totally agree. I Prayed and work hard for that application.

@RheaMARN1171933 Salamat. For the information of everybody after my NT nomination. Si Ms Rhea ang nagtuloy ng application ko as my agent up to visa lodge.

@quantum 75 pts for 189 and 80pts for 190. target naming is only NSW since andon mga kapatid ko. actually husband ko ung applicant ako lang taga-asikaso ng paperwork hehe. mukhang long queue and increasing points sa 189 esp if offshore ang applicant parang you can only claim as much hehe

@quantum let's be hopeful and realistic hehe. napansin ko rin po na biglang nagtaasan ang points since December hehe. hope it's not too late for all of us who wait. =) at the end of the day I think it all depends on the sponsoring country or state if they want to get skilled migrants offshore. No way to get 85 pts in 189 offshore hihi. I hope you get your invitation soon and this new FY gives us the plot twist we are hoping for! I also hope the occupation stays in the list... keep us posted =)

@jhyll The requirement for the syllabus is certified true copy by the school, do you plan to create your own syllabus and let the school certify the said syllabus? I am just curious how you will make the school certify the syllabus.

Hello dears, I am yet to lodge my EOI and would like to get your inputs please...
    1. Do I need to select Finance Manager or Management accountant? I have 17 total years of experience in financial accounting and management, the recent 5 years my position if FM. Now I am confused which position I will select, I know the difference per se but what is the impact or dis/advatanges if any if I choose the other one. Please help.
    2. I am CPA Philippines and after 2 years of studying CPAA, just last month I passed the remaining exam in CPA Australia and now I am just waiting for the certificate Does it mean that i can claim 15 points (for bachelor qualification) + additional 5 points (for Australian study requirement)?
    3. I am yet to take PTE Academic, since there no exam venue in my current location in Middle East, I need to take this in near countries, maybe in August.
    4. I am planning to take the 189 path, and based on my points calculator I will be able to generate 70 points, what is the latest points being invited?
    5. Is the point system based on the occupation (e.g. FM or MA) or based on the visa class (e.g. 189,190)

Thanks much in advance for those who will respond. Cheers.

@dr.ew888 Hi, i'll try to answer a few:

    2. Australian study requirement: To meet this requirement, you must have completed in no less than 16 calendar months either:

a single qualification requiring at least two academic years study
    or
more than one qualification resulting in a total period of at least two academic years study.

Check the registration of your course(s) on Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) website.

CPA program is not a qualification that satisfies the australian study requirement.

    5. Point system is based on criteria set by the DHA and not on occupation/visa ( https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/supporting/Pages/skilled/The-points-table.aspx)

    Hope that helps!

@agentKams thanks a lot for your reply. It helped me what to prepare before i lodge my EOI. It means though na passing the CPAA does not add any points. Now i need to focus to reach superior english to get max points. 80 points is too high to reach for outside Australia applicants.

Hi, good afternoon! Just got the result on my degree assessment. It was positive, thank God! Just got confused po because it says:

Your Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Gordon College together with your completed Professional Regulation Commission's Licensure Examinations is assessed as comparable to an Australian Bachelor degree. I am pleased to advise that the content of your qualifications has been considered according to the skills
assessment criteria for skilled migration purposes.

    Tapos sa baba:

Your Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Gordon College on its own is assessed as comparable to an
Australian Advanced Diploma. The content completed in this qualification cannot be considered in the
    assessment.

Also consider other factors in terms of points, can you compete with high pointers applicants for accountant? take into consideration all aspects, if you have limited knowledge for other things to consider try do further research or consult a professional agent.

@jzksrn14 my understanding, you can clamin 15 as its comparable to bachelor degree. With the degree from Gordon and the completion of your qualification put together.

kong degree from Gordon lang hindi sya comparable.

so make sure when you provide proof for the degree dapat kasama ang proof of the qualification obtained as well.
