Hi! Nakuha ko n rin po yung sa akin. Lalo bumaba yung speaking ko, gumamit po ako ng templates. Ito po score ko. And ask lng din po, sa RS po ba ok lng na yung second half ng sentence yung banggitin ko? Yung kasi ang naaalala ko. Nkakalimutan ko yung first part. Ano po kaya mali?

sobrang focus ko na sa listening. sa buong review puro listening practice lang ginawa ko kaso kapos pa din score ko sa listening. ano pa bang pwdeng gawin para maimprove yung listening. T-T

Hello @Marites_47 , if aiming for superior, no, unfortunately hindi enough na half lang yung ma repeat mo. you need to really practice remembering AND repeating 10-15 words for repeat sentence na test

pagbutihan mo yung speaking kase may points na related sa listening na nasa speaking like "repeat sentence".

@Levannie you need to identify which section ka nagstruggle and practice that section pa. for example if nagstruggle ka sa Listening - Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, then try to get other tips for that section and get more practice. Do a mock exam first din before taking the actual exam, just to see if you've improved enough to get your desired scores or if may certain areas ka pang need iimprove

Hi @adamwarlock dun po kaya yun? Last tym po kasi 75 ang score ko sa speaking, alm ko po sa RL po ako ngstruggle nun. So minemorize ko po yung template ng RL. And then ngayon po na feeling ko n ok nmn yung RL ko, and almost lahat sa speaking,mas bumaba pa po yung score ko. I dont know if sa RS yun kasi medyo parang half lng yung narerepeat ko ndi po tlaga lahat. Or baka po factor din yung pagsasalita ko, kasi mabilis po ako masyado magsalita? Need po ba steady lng na mabagal. Nacoconfuse po tlaga ako. Thank you po

Hi @Marites_47 , if sure kang sa repeat sentence almost half lang narerepeat mo, then probably dun ka nabawasan ng points. Sa repeat sentence kasi there are 2 ways, una is to practice to remember and repeat 10-15 words, since eto yung range ng words sa exam. ang tip ko lang dito is to remember what you here per phrase or idea, mas madali mo sya maremember this way. remember din to try to copy the speed, stress and intonation ng speaker.

Good day po sa lahat, I was supposed to schedule my PTE exam on August 28 but unfortunately naubusan po ako ng slots nung magssched na ako kagabi so ang next date na nakuha ko na is on September 4. Ask ko lang po sana kung sa experience po ba ng karamihan typical po bang mabilis lumabas yung results sa Makati? Sa iba po kasi ang sabi in almost 24 hours nakukuha na agad yung results. Sa iba naman lumagpas pang 5 days. Kinakabahan po kasi ako requirement po sya for scholarship and deadline na nya sa September 8 agad. Baka maforfeit yung scholarship ko dahil dito kaya natatakot po ako. Iniisip ko po ngayon na magreched and mag-change ng center to Cebu or Singapore para umabot sa deadline. Salamat po.

case to case basis. yung morning slot madalas na madaling araw lumalabas ang results, yung before lunch na exams, next day afternoon ang results pero depende din kase yun sa dami ng kumuha ng exam worldwide (wala tayong control dito lalo na kung pasok sa result processing time ni Pearson).

in my opinion, if you have the budget to flyout, do not hesitate to take the exam sa earliest possible na kaya mo dahil scholarship ang nakasalalay dyan.

Hello guys. Help. Struggle padin ako sa speaking. Mababa pa din score ko sa speaking even sa mock test. Tuloy tuloy naman ako magsalita. Kabisado ko yung templates. But still;(

Hi @adamwarlock, cge try ko rin po improve pa yung repeat sentence ko para sure. Sana dito nga po yun kasi ok nmn po DI at RL ko mababa lng po yung OF. Pero try ko rin po improve. Medyo bagalan ko po ng kaunti kasi mabilis po ako mgsalita. Reliable po b yung mga voice to text na mobile apps? May nagsuggest po sa akin. Sorry dami ko po ata tanong.

if medyo mababa yung OF mo, just take care not to pause too long or hesitate, sa system ng PTE its better to say nonsense nga basta tuloy tuloy kesa magpause and hesitate, natry ko to sa mock test, didn't affect my scores at all. not sure sa apps kasi I never used those. baka may makapag comment dito na nakagamit na

kung sure ka sa ginawa mo, possible yung placement ng mic, baka nahihingahan mo yung mic or sobrang lapit kaya maugong ang pasok ng sound.

just to add, yung describe image portion, ilang seconds ang nagagamit mo out of 40secs?

ooops typo, 40secs haha. yung DI average mo is ok so malamang yung mic yun.

my advice kung di mo pa nagagawa, purchase ka ng official Pearson practice test, kahit yung Gold kit, it includes Set A and Set B na exam, may official score to para makita mo kung nagiimprove ba.

bili ka din ng maayos na headset with mic at madami sa youtube na vids about proper placement ng mic.

if money is not an issue, i-sagad mo na yung 3 kits nila. para makapag practice ka with official scores. it's better that way kaysa retake ka ng retake.

buy a decent headset with mic tapos lagyan mo ng DIY wind filter.

@patotoy thank you for the encouragement! huhu It's bittersweet for me. Wasn't expecting to get those scores at first try but that 78 Reading mark was too close... Anyway, God has His own perfect timing. I won't give up and will give it another try on the 30th of August. It just so happened that someone backed out/rescheduled, I think, since it's full as per checking last week. That's why I thought you may want to check from time to time the availability @rggon21 ? Or try calling the Makati office if they can accommodate you?
