Hi po - questions:

1. For medical exams po, sino po ang magdedetermine kung anong test ang dapat gawin? ang CO po ba? last time kasi nagpacheck ako, mataas ng onti ang sugar, bad cholesterol and SGPT ko. nagdidiet pa ako para bumaba. hehe
2. If based po ako sa Singapore and ang wife and 1 year old son ko is based sa Pinas, ok lang po ba kahit hindi kami sabay magpamedical? or best na magpamedical ng sabay? kasi mag VISA lodging pa lang po kami.

What if po magpositive SA Ppd test? Madedeny po ba? Kahit po clear ang x-ray. Dahil as health care workers, exposed tlga tau..

@snmgil about a week clear na sa Immi account namin, although initially, ang sabi ng clinic dito sa sg is around 2 weeks ang result.

ahh salamat po ng marami. umaabot pla ng at least a week. akala ko kc kasing bilis lng sa blood tests ng adults, nagworry tuloy ako. sabi kasi pending pa daw sa pedia, last week lng din naman kami nagexam. Thanks @adamwarlock

Standard exams are:
1. Medical - bp, eye test, urine, interview by doctor
2. Chest x-ray
3. HIV test

might also require Serum Creatinine and ECG depending on initial findings.

@maureenguelan If there is/are adverse finding(s) they would usually call you up for a repeat exam or additional tests.
Dunno with other authorized clinics but I was able to request a copy of the medical results as submitted to DHA from Nationwide Health Systems.

@cucci thanks po, wala p po kme s medical waiting pdn po kme invitation. Big help kse talang forum n to para magkaron idea. Lalo na pag medical mdyo nakkaba.
Sabi kse agent nmen pag bagsak isa s family lahat hnd ok.

babagsak ka lang naman sa medical kung walang cure ang sakit mo like HIV. the rest ok lang as long as hindi active at curable like TB.

Hello po,

Sa mga nglodge after july 2018 na nauna mgmedical, i just wanted to check kasi sbi nila hindi dw lumalabas sa selection ung visa 190 or 489 sa my health declaration, paano po kaya ggwin kasi prefer po nmin mgmedical muna before lodging?

Good day po, ask lang ako regarding sa medical po ng 489 visa. Ang case ko po kasi is, I have my ITA na po then I am planning to lodge it this September but I am reluctant kasi may medical po ako last November 2017, so ang expiration nya po is this coming November. Ask ko lang po kung advisable po ba na mag take ulit ng medical to avoid CO contact? or as is ko nalang po dahil kailangan maassess muna ng CO?

And same lang po ba ang medical/ health dec ng 189, 190 at 489? wala po kasing specific na medical sa 489 visa sa mga options po eh. Salamat po.

Hello po, magandang araw po.

Makikitanong lang sana ako. Malapit na kasi kami maglodge ng partner ko ng visa (after being invited noong Aug 11).

Paano po ba yung pag generate ng HAP ID? needed for the medical and ano next steps? Gusto kasi namin mag frontload na ng docs. Pero nacoconfuse ako sa mga gagawin.

Balak sana namin sa "Nationwide Health Systems" kaysa St Lukes BGC kasi yun lang ata open ng Saturday.

Makihingi lang po sana ako guidance. Salamat po!

Hello po,
Baka meron po dito sa group na may kids and with speech delay, pano po ginawa nyo?,my ITA na kasi kami and we’re planning to do the medical asap pero reluctant kami kasi nga yung anak namin 2yrs na sya and hinde nya nameet yung ibang milestones like the ‘two-words’ but the rest ok sya alam nyang words is more than 50 na and sa physical actvties normal naman sya. Nagpaasses na kami last aug and ang result is language impairment, gnawa namin yun para sana maassess namin kung ano gagawin bago mag lodge ng visa. And magsolicit sana kami ng advices kmung meron mang same sa case namin.Thanks po!

@jher31 wala testing na gagawin for language or development milestones sa kids. Ang test lang sa kids ay TB. Besided 2 years old pa lang si baby I think normal lang yun. Some kids have different milestones. Si einstien nga nabasa ko 5 years old na nang magsalita. Kidding aside, I think walang issue yun. just my opinion.

@batman thanks sa reply, pero yun yung process sa medical pag below 5yo db? Checheck sya ng pedia, based din to sa mga nababasa ko lang dito sa group and mukhang same kami ng case na may kid na delayed ang speech, and grounds yun for visa refusal, developmental delay

@jher31 when we had our medical I have 6 and 4 y/o dpendent I don't remember going to pedia, we only have blood sample extraction, urine test for all, then went to GP for adult and kids for PE and exray for adults. We just gave the medical referral to the clinic and that's all the process na ginawa sa amin.

good day po sana may makasagot. nag generate napo kasi ako ng referral letter for medical and nag answer ako ng "no" sa lahat ng questions only to realize na meron palang "thalassemia" dun sa blood disorder na question. meron po kasi ako thalassemia minor genetic trait. pwede po kaya i amend ko yun declaration ko kapag nagpa medical na mismo and meron po kaya problem if meron ako nitong blood trait na to? h

Not sure if pwede pa i amend, pero di naman sya problem since I have the same condition as you, na clear naman yung health exam ko. If you have a previous medical certificate explaining na genetic yung minor thalassemia mo, dalhin mo na lang din during medical just in case (although di rin naman hiningi yung sakin kahit dineclare ko sya).

@adamwarlock thank you po sa reply and very reassuring na meron din kayo thalassemia minor and wala naman problem. sabihin ko na lang sa doctor and i will bring my blood test result kahit na na declare ko na "no".

@ekc08 kanjna po wiwi physical exam xray hiv test plus parameters sa dugo not sure po sa sgpt pero dba need fasting dun kay sgpt.. sa actual d need magfasting

Magandang araw po, ask ko lang po dito, ano ang mas okay, medical before logde or wait for advise after lodge?

Di pa ako nakalodge so pwede pa ako pamedical pero gusto ko po malaman ang mas okay.

@ayyay Hello kabayan! Kung may HAP ID ka na pwede ka na mag pa medical sa Panel Physician. Pero kung wala pa? Wag muna para hindi masayang lang at umulit ng medical.

@ayyay Depending on what visa you are applying, you can generate HAP ID using your immi account. However it is advisable to do the medicals pag sure ka nang mag lodge ng visa application. Bear in mind valid lang medicals for 1 year or even 6 months in some circumstances.
