Wrong Input in EOI - Years of Experience in Nominated Occupation

I submitted an EOI with 70 points but I realized that I inputted the wrong dates for work experience. Hinde ko na-minus yung 2 years na dineduct ng ACS so instead of 6 years, 8 years yung nalagay ko na experience. Kung 6 years, 65 points pa rin naman ako. Kaso meron na akong invite and hinde ko na ma-edit.

Question ko is kung ok lang ba ituloy ko yung pag lodge ng visa? Baka kasi mapenalize ako dahil "incorrect" yung nalagay ko na date. Or wait ko na lang mag lapse yung invite tapos submit na lang ako ulit ng EOI with correct dates?

From other forums:
"If you receive an invitation to apply, and your score under the points test is less than claimed in your EOI, your visa may be refused even if you are able to pass the points test or meet other threshold criteria. If you receive an invitation and your points have decreased or your personal information is not accurate, you do not have to proceed to make an application. You should correct the information in your EOI and wait to receive another invitation."

Pero maybe you can give a call sa DIBP or email to them to check for other options. Maybe you can fill up a correction form (1023 i think) and email to them. Pero kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali it will expire yata after 60 days..

@gmont: hi there! if makakaaffect sa overall score mo then don't lodge your visa yet. but if not naman then you can lodge your visa then submit form 1023. Like yung sa kin nagkamali ako sa isang work experience ko sa EOI (2nd job ko is nagoverlap yung dates sa 3rd job ko) though points are still the same so nagproceed ako as advised sa skillselect dati then submitted form 1023.

if you can't wait naman you have a choice to create another EOI with different email for the corrected points then wait for another set of invitation kasi parang pag nagwait ka pa ng 60 days e sayang yung time.

Pero if I submit another EOI using a different email, hinde ba nila manotice yun na may kaparehas na name sa currently invited?

@gmont: kaya nga all through out kabado ako. pero I think wala naman problem. yun sa kin kasi nakapagpasa na ako ng 190 then bigla akong nagkaron ng points kaya nagresubmit ako ng 189 since yung State application ko e medyo "ayaw makishare base sa mga nabasa ko"... I have received the invitation first for the 189 then nakapaglodge na ako noong nareceive ko yung 190 so I let it expire na lang.

hello guys, patanong lang po. Kapag nag update po ba sa EOI need ba na iclick ang "submit" again? Kahit submitted na sya before pa nag update. Hindi pako invited ng State, ok lang po ba iclick ang submit button again?

@gmont ano na po nangyari? ok lang po na gumawa ng another email? eto po kasi ung case ko:

Nagstart ako magwork Aug 2007 and sa ACS ko po eto ang assessment:

"The following employment after August 2009 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately
skilled level and relevant to 261312 (Developer Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code."

Meron na akong invite last Oct 11 lang. Ang question ko po is ang nilagay ko kasi noon sa EOI eh Aug 2007 ang start ko, hindi Aug 2009. Either way 8+ years parin naman siya (15pts). Magiging kaso po ba yun o hindi? Magreapply nalang ba ako ng EOI ulit? Pano na ang invite ko?
