yes you can but you need a mentor to do the checklist required for the practical experience.
i just had mine approved, luckily my former boss is a CPA.

Guys, have some queries and appreciate your responses. Im graduate of BSAccountancy circa 2000, a CPA Philippines, also associate member na din ng CPAA. Was able to availed the benefits of MRA between Picpa and Cpaa and now taking the pathway 1 program for Cpa exam and my first subject is Ethics and Governance.
1. Anyone here who has taken this exam before who can share some tips and database of exam questionnaires if you can plse?
2. I heard from a friend that if you pass the Cpaa exam, you no longer need to take english test, anyone? If this is totally true?
3. When applying for eoi, what is the difference between Finance Manager, management accountant, general accountant. I know the difference per se but what i intend to ask is e.g if you selected the code for general accountant does it mean you are not allowed to becime FM? Sorry for my ignorance.
4. What is the highest points to be considered?
5. I read somewhere that they are removing these professions very soon, does it mean that we might be losing the opportunity to migrate specially for accountants who are still preparing the big move.

sino dito nag tatake currently ng CPA?kakatapos ko lang ng EG, diko alam kung pumasa ako. pero plano ko tapusin t.. determination. meron ako material ng EG baka pwede mag tayu mag palitan. pm or email lang po.. thanks

Hi, i graduated bachelor of science in accountancy in phils, not a cpa and no acctg experience din... gusto ko sana mgstart d2 n kumuha ng cpa exam.. anong best school na pwde ko pasukan d2 sa nsw? Or ano po una ko gagawin? Thanks po...

@dr.ew888 sa no. 1 question: i took d exam last year sa makati. try to search pointers sa internet. dati i found some sa youtube very helpful yung pointers. anyway open book naman pagdating sa exam. you just have to be familiar saan yung mga topics sa book.

Hi,
Question po sa fees sa CPAA. Nagbayad ako ng assessement fee if qualified ako maging associate. Positive naman po result. Then need ko magbayad to activate membership, gusto ko sana half muna then enroll ako ng isa subject. Response ng CPAA hindi daw pwede split yun membership. Bakit ganun dun sa website nila pwede half year membership? May nakaexperience din ba dito napawaive nila yun application fee? Sa kabila forum may nabasa ko kaso hindi ko sure kung yun nawaive is application fee or yun general migration assessment fee kapag member ng CPAA. Pls help po. Thank you.

Na waive ang application fee sa CPA australia at kasama yun sa email nung na finalise yung assessment. You just have to provide of 100 equivalent points. With regards to membership, iba yun sya 325 yun at alam ko di sya na waive. You need to be a member para makatake ka ng program. Di ko rin na try yung half a year membership

@aisleandrow tinawagan ko CPAA kanina about sa questions ko. Sa ngayon daw hindi sila nagwwaive ng application fee. May certain period lang daw sila inooffer yon at ngayon daw wala. Bale ang sinabi sa akin pwede ko ienroll ang ethics kahit hindi ko muna iactivate ASA membership ko. After non, need ko maging ASA to enroll the other subjects.

Nag enrol na ako ng ethics, may option ako for paper or computer based exam sa location na malapit sa akin. Recommendation alin mas ok? Ta.
