@DreamerA Yes, priority nila PR and citizen. As long as meron ka work rights, kukunin ka nila, kahit hindi PR. Wag ka lang mapili sa trabaho.

Also, kung mag aapply ka ng office admin jobs, mahihirapan ka kung ganyan English and spelling mo (no offense meant).

@japsdotcom mahirap ang IT dito. PR ako pero hirap pa din ako dito sa Canberra kasi ang kailangan nila, may security clearance, which is only for citizens.
Malabo ata change pag 457 or 482.
    Ano specialisation mo?

@bookworm Salamat sa reply. Oo nga nag search ako ng mga job vacancy sa indeed and seek puro citizen and NV1 security clearanance hinahanap nila. wala ako specialisation, kahit saang IT field ako pwede. Job experience ko Service Desk Admin, IT System Admin, Network & Security Engineer, SAP business analyst and currently Penetration Tester & Cybersecurity Engineer. :)

nako, wag kang papaapekto sa mga negative people mapa-forum man o nakakasalamuha mo sa araw araw. iba iba ang deskarte ng bawat isa satin, hindi dahil ibig sabihin na mahirap makahanap ng work sa field mo ay wala ng work available. as long as may work rights ka, try lang ng try. :D

Ideally before you make the move meron kayong sapat na ipon for your expenses while looking for work. Usually nauuna yung mga husbands na mag move then once settled saka susunod buong family.

Nagbago na rin yung policy for temporary visas just this year. Dati yung mga British backpackers nakakahanap ng work agad as recruiters pero ngayon di na yan basta basta possible.

Once you get the PR you can apply for any job.

Kahit anong work muna Okay na basta kumikita din. ano nga po pala line of work mo?

ung regarding sa temporary visa , you mean kaht naka working visa kaht odd jobs mahirap nadn maka kuha ng work? thanks

For odd jobs, marami naman kung marami but you have to be here na to apply. And just like what I’ve said marami ring competition but bottomline, mas malaki chances for odd jobs kung nandito ka na.

Some casual jobs kailangan ng certificate like RSA/RCG for working in a pub etc.

Just checking sa seek maraming naghahanap ng disability support workers for casual basis, some of them wala namang experience/certification required. Take note this is not the same as working as a caregiver or in a nursing home.

    IT yung field ko.

I haven't heard a lot of success around people coming in with tourist visas and being able to secure stable jobs. It's not like in the US or even in Dubai, mas strict sila dito when it comes to foreign workers.
