@galf10333 hi kung nakapagbayad na po kayo may I ask if ano nagamit niyo? Tried bdo debit card ayaw kasi hanggang 200k lang daw pwede. Around 235k kailangan kong bayaran. Pag mag try daw ako mag overpay sa credit card di daw sure kung ibig sabihin noon tataas limit ko. Medyo nagpapanic na ako kasi aug 11 ako nainvite so until oct 10 lang to lodge. Ngayon ko lang kasi nacomplete lahat ng docs.

@rnmh natry mo na po yung Unionbank EON card? alam ko may mga gumamit nun dito and pwede naman. basta pondohan lang and tawagan yung bank na magincrease ng limit (default is 100k per day). ako nakigamit ng card ng officemate ko. nagrequest ako sa BPI ng increase pero mga 5 days - 2 weeks pa daw kaya naghanap na lang ako ng ibang alternative. until now di pa din tumataas credit limit ko.

@gibo43 Thank you po! Sayang wala akong Unionbank EON. Nagkaproblema ako kahapon sa BDO debit card kasi over sa limit, went to the bank to fix it and naayos naman kahapon so nakapaglodge din. YAY

@ga2au Ginamit ko BDO credit card. Advise ng BDO, if debit card kaya ipa request via call center na increase up to 200k (pero hanggang doon lang!). So ang case ko (kasi kasama de facto ko so lampas 200k) nag advance payment ako sa credit card para maging "negative" yung outstanding balance/ magkaron ng credit card "limit". Nagkaproblema ako kanina sa debit card, una kasing sabi sa akin basta may funds mag pproceed yun. Nung nadecline tsaka ko lang nalaman yung 200k limit. After pumunta akong bank afternoon para mag advanced payment sa credit card, mga 4pm na ata yun. Pagdating mga 11pm ok na, na credit na yung amount sa account ko. Tapos nag proceed naman transaction. And nakapag lodge din, FINALLY!

Ginamit ko paypal (kasi 1% lang surcharge) vs debit/credit card na visa/mastercard na 1.32%). Ang hirap pala ng antay nagulat ako na 9-11mos na ang processing based sa advise nila. All the best po sa lahat!

@ga2au hehe no worries! Kung isa ka lang nag apply pasok yun sa debit card limit na 200k. If not ang ginawa ata ng iba nakihiram sa credit card kahit di nakapangalan sakanila. All the best!

Just want to update this thread, I just paid for my visa a couple of days ago. Subclass 189. Around 4300AUD roughly 167k.

Mukhang di talaga gumagana debit card. Mine was UnionBank Debit, nakapag increase naman na yung bank ng daily transaction limit up to 200k. Visited the bank multiple times, called their customer service hotlines daily.

Also having more than sufficient amount on the account. But nothing seems to work. Nag try rin ako gumamit ng ibang card like security bank debit, etc. Ayaw pa rin. Payment Declined pa rin.
.
Last resort, naghanap ng friends or relative na may mataas na credit limit. Dami ko rin na-try and daming errors na naencounter, finally I used my Aunt's Security Bank CC and it worked.
.
Di ko na-anticipate na magkakaroon ako ng problem sa mode of payment, akala ko sa stage na 'to generating of funds ang biggest hurdle. May plot twist pala! Lesson learned. Hehe.
.
Kaya para sa mga iwas na iwas sa CC like me, sa ganitong mga pagkakataon pala talaga siya magagamit. Hehe. Hope this shed some light sa mga nasa same situation and sa mga malapit na makareceive ng ITA, lalo na sa may mga dependents na malaki ang visa fees.

Currently applying for a CC na. For future purchases lalo na after grant saka pang visa payment ng mga magiging dependents. Hehe.

Used Citi CC to pay for our visa lodgment 2wks ago. 6449AUD. no issues naman.

IMHO Citi is the best CC provider in the PH. daming perks, freebies, discounts, and points (depende sa card) and their mobile app is simply the best. Sucks na they're pulling out their operations from the country na.

Try nyo sir. Basta Visa/MC/Amex and other channels accepted by immig naman yung card okay yan. Another option, sa BDO nasesetup ang no-pin purchase limit for online spend via app, pero 200k pesos lang siya.

Good Evening. I am anticipating on how I am gonna pay my Visa lodge. Mga AUD 4,770 or Php 185,000 babayaran ko. Ang available ko lang na card ay BDO debit card (visa) and BDO credit card (Gold visa).

regarding BDO Debit card, na increase ko na yung No-Pin purchase and Online purchase to Php 200,000. Magkaka problema kayo once na ginamit ko tong BDO Debit card. Nabasa ko kasi on previous post na ayaw gumana ng BDO debit card. Baka kasi now gumana naman.

Just incase #1 fails meron akong BDO credit card Gold na may available limit na 60k (previous limit ay 40k), How can I increase the credit limit? kaka activate ko lang ng May ng credit card na to- pwede kaya maki usap na increase to 200k yung limit?
Last resort is manghiram ng credit card sa ka kilala ko or do you know any alternative methods?

You can try to pay using your debit card first. If it doesn't work, then you can call your bank to confirm if credit limit increase is possible for your cc.
If I am not mistaken, there's a prepaid credit card in BPI called Amore. You need to call the bank to confirm if this has funding/spending limit. May cash ka naman pala, so pwede to.
