    @xiaolico If you want to be on the safe side, renew it before you travel. My hubby renewed his passport in Sydney and it only took 3 weeks.

    Based on Ph website, exempted ang Ph passport holder sa 6 mos validity rule so walang prob going to Ph. For Australia naman, nakalagay is as long as valid yung passport mo, you can enter Australia. You have to confirm it with your Airline as well kung papayagan ka nila to travel.

    @sunflower No, they won’t be sending a new document. You can however check if the new passport is already linked to your visa thru VEVO.

    Once you’ve updated your passport details in your immi account, just give it 24 to 48 hrs then check thru the website that I’ve posted above.

    Hi @Cassey, @sunflower, good day.
    I did login to Immi website and used the "Update Details" to submit our newly renewed passport. The status says submitted in the Immi website and we received an email saying it was updated and that it will take 24-48 hours to reflect.
    However upon checking after 2 days and until now in VEVO, the "Document number" is still saying the old passport number.

    1. Is this the same with you guys in VEVO (old passport number still in "Document number")?
    2. In your Immi account, what is the status in the Update Details that you submitted (is it also "Submitted")?

    Sorry, false alarm. I was logging in on VEVO using the old passport number (and was expecting that the "Document number" will be the new passport).
    Instead, out of curiosity, I tried logging in VEVO using the new passport number this time and it was able to successfully login and shows the new passport!

    All good :)

    I had my passport renewed in Sydney PCG in August last year and received the new one by mail in September.

    @janine0511
    Check the website for updates, and once your passport is available, send a self-addressed envelope to the consulate. I HIGHLY recommend using express post so that the process is safe, quick and trackable.

    Good Morning!

    Tanung ko lang kung anung document ang kailangan ipresent sa renewal ng passport regarding "latest Australian visa page"? wala naman visa sticker sa passport because e-visa tayo. VEVO ba ang tinutukoy ng consulate website?

    Thanks!

    Sino nakapag renew ng passport sa Canberra? Aabutin ba isang araw or how many hours para mkapag apply? I'm in melbourne and flight ko is 7am and return is 3pm on the same day.
