need ko pa ba magupload ng bagong COE para sa current employer ko kahit same employer parin naman ako nung nagpa-assess ako nung una? thanks

Hello guys, ask ko ln nagpaassess na kasi ko sa ACS, bali coloured ung sinend ko then hiningan pdn ako ng naka certified. Ang question ko is naghingi din sila ng resume? Anong klaseng resume ba un? any format na required sundan o kahit ung nakaprepare na sakin? Thank you!

@von1xx hi yung partner ko hiningan din sya ng resume. So we just made sure na same ng jd na nilagay nmin sa resume nung nasa coe. At about the documents.. did you have it certified true copy? Sa lawyer? Kailngan un..check mo ung guidelines ng acs

@anntotsky thank you! pwede po ba mahinga ung sample? kahit screenshot ln po kc ung resume ko mostly achievements ung nilagay ko hindi mismo ung detailed duties. Bali ngayon pina ctc ko na lahat para sure, need din pala kahit coloured documents ung sinend.

Hi guys, @RheaMARN1171933 @patotoy and other forum members, just would like to seek your insights, since my current employer will retrench our department at the end of this year and would be needing for another employer next year, given that I already have a positive assessment last year with my current employer being assessed and already knew the "met date", do I still need to apply for reassessment from ACS for submitting EOI since I'll be having a new employer starting next year? Would it affect the possibility of getting visa be approved in the long run?

@mamamilk sa pinas sobrng mura may kakilala kmi notary..they ask me to pay 40php per page. Pero meron ding 200php per page..try nyo sa munoz mas mura..dito sa SG 70 ata red ribbon (required sya dito) then 5-10sgd ata per page... so gawin nyo ipunin nyo lahat ng docs nyo then saka kayo punta sa munoz or sa murang lawyer..then tawad pa kyo ahhaa kc ung akin sa dami ng pina ctc ko 40php/page inabot ata ng 2k pesos.pro dhil kilala ko 1500 nlng daw heheh

@darkangl08 ang ginawa po namin ay name_Certificate_TOR

Example Anntotsky_certificate _TOR
Sa work experience nman anntoksky_companyname_employment_certificate

Dko sure if it matters pero kc may nakalagay ata sa acs na ung file is dpt ganito ganyan (correct me if im wrong) so basta ginawa nming standard lahat..puro name then ung kung ano ung doc

no need kase ang ipapa-reassess mo ay yung previous employer mo at since current employer mo yung na-assess na, tumatakbo naman ang dates nun. meaning, nagaadjust sya automatically as long as dun ka pa din employed at same R&R ka.

Hi guys! Is anyone here a graduate from UST, BS in Information Systems. Just wanna know if binawasan pa ba ni ACS yung work experience nyo? or if acceptable ba yung course as closely related sa nominated code? software engr ung ipapa-assess. asking for a friend. salamat!

@yani1127 yes, minimum they deduct is 2 years experience. Have a look at the guidelines, it’s explained clearly in there.

@RheaMARN1171933 yup, i know that naman. I think case to case basis din ito. I have a friend na grad ng DLS Lipa, no deduction sa kanya. Lahat credited. Section 1 kasi ata ang school nya? That's why I'm asking if may deduction if coming from UST? Kasi section 1 din ata ang ust.

@yani1127 that’s impossible, I’m afraid. Section 1 universities automatically get 2 years deduction at the least depending on the discipline of studies and how relevant it is with the occupation. Even our clients here in the UK get the same. And this goes the same with the x number of cases we’ve handled over the years. Never in my entire professional experience had I encountered a case for ACS skills assessment wherein no deduction of work experience were made. Your friend would probably the first and only I’ve heard of which I’m certain it wouldn’t be the case. Read the guideline to be well informed. That’s the best advice I can give

Hi guys. I’m silent reader sa forum na ito. May mga questions lang ako since totally di pa ako familiar sa process.

1. Currently in 457 but I think I can already apply for 189/190 after a year right?
2. If I plan to apply by may 2019, pde na ba ako magpa access sa ACS? Iniisip ko kasi if kaya namin maabot points or mag antay na lang employer sponsored ( currently 3 years waiting period) thank you!

That is very strange I must say. We talk about these things amongst fellow registered migration agents and even skills assessors during round table meetings. At times ACS will deduct years prior to the last 10 years but they will definitely deduct that’s for sure. That’s very difficult for me to believe to be honest but anyway, I don’t know your friend’s situation and no point digging into his circumstance. I’ve provided my 2 cents on your query already based on my professional knowledge and experience and not just mere hearsay. All the best!

Hello po. Posting for a friend. Non-IT graduate working as Developer Analyst and narecognize nmn na ung work experience thru RPL. Question is, pano/san magpapaassess for the education part - BS Math course. Not sure if natanong na dito. Thanks

@whoisluis the education part does not need to be assessed. All your friend should know is under which section his university falls under. He needs to check through Country Education Profile (CEP)which is created by the Australia’s Department of Education and Training. Assessing authorities do not decide on these things as all refer to the CEP.

Hi Guys,

My ACS assessment result came out last week and they deducted 4 years from my 5 years working experience. I won't be getting any points kasi since 1 year lang ung ma crecredit sa akin kaya medyo big deal siya.

I emailed them to ask some clarifications regarding sa results and according to them:

"As your Bachelor degree was assessed as an ICT Major and Not being closely related to the nominated occupation, you were required to demonstrate 4 years of experience in any time period. The rule applied to an application will be the one that gives the applicant the earliest date of meeting ACS requirements."

I am a Computer Science and Information System graduate (from CEU) so basically combination siya ng Comp Sci and I.T. How come na hindi closely related ung course ko sa inapplyan ko which is Computer Systems and Network Engineer (263111) e may Cisco naman kami nun pero iba lang ung code sa TOR (Comelec aka Computer Elective 1 to 4).

Tingin niyo guys it make sense ba na eto ung gawin kong reason for appeal/review? Or any ideas para mapababa ko from 4 years to 2 years ung deduction sa akin?

Hello. Question lang, may specific requirements po ba pagdating sa paper size (letter, legal, A4)? Thank you. Iniisip ko kasi madalas ang gamit satin either letter or legal. Pero outside ang standard is A4.

@aronjaynavarro AFAIK, tingin ko nag based sila sa course syllabus nung univ mo. They usually do computation kung ilang percent related yung mga subjects na under course syllabus vs your nom. occ. just my 2 cents lang nman.
