Hi everyone. I just have a few questions:

    1. Yung GTE ba sa portion nung application (the one with 2000 character limit), is the same as GTE Document na i-aattach sa Attachments section?
    2. What are other possible attachments sa GTE part?

    Salamat po

@blue3319 I wrote a short summary of what I wrote in the GTE letter and pasted it in the 2000-character limit textbox, and then attached the GTE letter after. I didn't attach anything else with the GTE letter.

Sa mga nagpamedical po sa SLEC Ermita, how was your experience? And question, yung tests ba na gagawin ay yung nasa referral slip? In my case kasi, 501 at 502 lng yata which is chest x-ray and medical examination.

@blue, monday ako pumunta, bale, half day lang tinagal. Medyo marami pang tao nun. 1:30 PM ako nag start, natapos ako ng before 5.

We provided joint account statement and our domestic partnership certificate, pics, convo, plane tickets, fb post, stat dec from friends. Kaso wala po kameng lease of contract. Hay! Need daw po nun. How soon po pwede mag reapply from the time sinend yung refussal letter ng immigration?

    Hi all, question.

I applied online last night for MnM Institute and received a Letter of Offer today. Kailangan ko lang gumawa ng 90-second video explaining why I want to study there and how they can help me. I didn't pass a GTE or SOP during the application. Ok lang ba to?

So depende sa school yan.

@nickoryanfang paghahanap ng work is highly subjective sa swerte kung may mag ssponsor na employer sayo o wala. In my case, yung bachelors ko sa pilipinas is already on the mltssl, so I'm going to study simply for the points itself kaya murang diploma course lang hinanap ko. If PR is your goal make sure na may way ka to get a positive assessment in sa skilled occupation lists

Hi everyone! Sharing my experience with all of you, since this forum has also helped me a lot.

    Timeline:
    Feb 2018- Took IELTS Exam
July 2018- Applied for a PhD at Macquarie University
(Entire July, I have been in constant communication with the Uni since they requested for additional documents such as my Masters Thesis, etc.)

August 15- Received my unconditional offer letter from Macquarie (3-yr PhD)

I was unsure yet if I would push through, so I maxed out the deadline given by the Uni.

November 27- Confirmed my enrollment (returned the Acceptance pack and paid 1 sem tuition plus OHSC)

November 29- Macquarie issued a COE for Visa Application

December 10- Medical at SLEC Ermita

December 13- Medical results uploaded, no further action required

December 15- Lodged my visa application

December 17- Visa granted. (mainit init pa)

I didn't expect it to be this fast since, December na ako nag lodge and peak season ito usually, plus ang tagal ng global processing times for Postgraduate Research Sector. And my supervisor expected me to be there by March pa, since he also told me na baka matagalan yung application.

My entire application, from applying to the Uni, medical to lodging my visa is DIY. Kaya kabado rin ako kasi I just did everything by myself, and just asked some forumers here for some clarifications.

@mrsespejo vocational po ba ang inaaral? or bachelor's degree? As far as I know, the student can work unlimited hours during recognized school breaks, but the dependent can't (meaning they're still limited by the 40-hours per fortnight). Of course, DHA has the final say on what the dependent's visa conditions will be (if they are allowed to work the 40-hours/fortnight or not).

@aranayad hi mam thanks sa reply. I called DHA to confirm, hindi daw po pwede kasi ang condition ng primary holder 8105 sa dependent 8104. Primary holder lang daw po pwede mag full time during school breaks.
