Hi everyone, question po regarding medical for 190.

I generated a HAP ID by selecting 189 sa visa type (kasi same lang daw ang medical ng 189 and 190). I want to complete yung medical before lodging visa and pagkagenerate ko nung HAP ID nagschedule nako ng medical. Will this do? May nababasa kasi ako na kelangan maglodge muna daw po before medical for 190.. although dun sa application for 190 meron pdn dun question kung nakapgmedical na ba and asking for HAP ID if available.. mejo naguluhan lang po ako dun sa lodge muna before medical.. Will there be an issue na I chose visa class 189 to generate HAP ID na gagamitin ko for medical? Thank you!!

Hello @hopeful_Z, we did medicals before visa lodge, we use 189 also for the referral letter, tas sa immi account application dont forget to keyin the hap id you initially generated, later on once ng key in ng result ang clinic npansin ko mpplitan din ng 190 yun sa referral letter at malilink din sya sa applivcation mo ng 190..

don't worry, kaya din sila may CO contact kase in case na may kulang or questions sa application mo, iclaclarify nila sayo.

nag te-take advantage lang yung ibang agents kase alam nila na may pagkatamad ang taong mag research.

@hopeful_Z yung sa visa489 namin, naglodge muna kami ng application & payment then nakareceived kami ng notification agad for medical. Then nagsked kami kinabukasan sa SATA ng int'l visa heath check. Wala pang 3 days after the medical appointment... nagchanged na sa 'no action required' status ng health assessment namin sa immi.

no worries, basta kapag may question, post ka lang dito sa forums para makakuha ka ng info from other people. kapag kase dumerecho ka sa agent, may instances na i-over nila sa hirap yung info para mag subscribe ka sa services nila. walang kaibahan yan sa mga nag aalok ng insurance or investment opportunity.

may mga agents na maayos pagtanungan kagaya ng resident agent natin dito na si miss Rhea. mafeefeel mo naman kung nag te-take advantage na sila sayu kapag sinumulan ka nilang kwentuhan na napakahirap ng process tapos alam nilang malaki ang potential na mataas ang points mo. captured client kase yun eh, good as mapapadali na work nila, makukuha pa nila ng buo yung payment contract kase maga-grant ka.

@patotoy thanks for your nice comment. However, I must say the agents you have been describing are most likely not registered and qualified ones so just be careful with making general comments on this forum as it may taint the the other agents’ reputation who are decent and work within ethics. The legit ones are obliged to follow the Code of Conduct and would unlikely work in a manner you have described. Using a proper agent is definitely beneficial. The problem is many aspiring migrants do not know the difference between a qualified one and someone who’s pretending to be knowledgeable. Knowledge is power in the end. Walang maloloko kung walang nagpapaloko. Therefore, it is the individual’s responsibility to utilise his judgement when choosing an agent. Not all are bad and to describe that most are is somehow unfair to the actual agents doing a decent job.

This forum is a great source of information especially for those DIY applications. However, the danger with information one may get here is that most are only based on experience and not based on professional knowledge and expertise. From the x amount of cases we’ve handled, none of them are identical. It’s nice to share experiences here but one should be mindful that not because things worked for someone, same would apply to others. Best to gather facts and use your own judgment to choose which ones you think may apply...this can be tricky at times though especially when all you have as sources are the immigration website, forums and what people share. Hence, there’s always that peace of mind when guided by an agent - a qualified and registered one.

Question lang po. May implication ba pag hindi same dates ang police clearance, medical and visa lodge date? Plan kasi namin ng wife ko is to have our medical here in sg next week, as well as our police clearance. Then once umuwi kami next month sa pinas kuha kami nbi clearance.

Here’s our timeline
Dec 26 - Medical + SG police clearance
Jan 15 - NBI clearance
Jan 23 - Visa lodge

Okay lang po ba to? I was told na dapat have the medical as close to the lodgement date as possible. What are the possible implications, if any?

Question lang sana regarding sa COE, since sa ACS need ang info like “xxx is working as a regular employee 40 hours a week”

Once ba nag lodge ka ng visa and for DHA review na, need pa rin yung ganong info?

Ang scenario ko ksi na redundant ako sa current employer ko this December pero nka secure ako nung ganong type ng coe (yung may word na ...regular employee working 40 hours a week) wayback 2017 pa inissue pero since di pa ako nareredundant that time yung COE na yun nkalagay “presently employed” pa.

Then, binigyan ako ng latest COE ngayon pero di na indicated yung info na “xxx is working as a regular employee 40 hours a week” magka problem kaya once si DHA na mag review kung walang ganong info? Badtrip na ata ksi sken HR ilang beses ko na pina revised mali pa rin.

in any case, pwede mong icombine sa 1 pdf ung mga coe na na nakuha mo sa company na yan. makikita nila yung details historically.

worst case ay stat declaration pero ok naman na yan, it's either "full time" or "40 hrs" (basta ung considered bg AU na full time work).

Hello.

I know someone who is not a member here in this page who is asking if there will be any implications if she didnt put her middle name in the application for 189? I’m reaching out here in this thread kasi i really dont know what to answer her. She got her visa a few months ago and she wants to travel when she realized her middle name is not reflected in her visa. Question: is she gonna have a hard time traveling to other countries (especially re entry to oz) from the immigration officers? Wala kasing middle name sa visa but sa ph oassport natin merong middle name. Thanks

@kOtZ My recently granted 489 visa and all of my previous Australia tourist visas all don't have my middle name. I've never had a problem with Immigration. Sa Philippine passport kasi it specifically says Middle Name while sa Australian application forms ang hinihingi is the Given Name. Kaya ko rin hindi nilalagay yung middle name ko sa application forms kasi hindi ko naman iyon given name.

@kOtZ @maguero I have my middle name on a previous AU tourist visa (that a relative applied for). They've put it on the given name field and it didn't matter. I got in without problems and spent a month here. I have various other tourist visas and boarding passes with and without the middle name on them.

My 189 visa and all AU government forms/IDs don't have my middle name. The automated ID checks fail (like opening bank accounts or new phone plans) if I put my middle name in since the visa doesn't have it, so for consistency I match everything to the name on the visa.

Most AU forms require last names only since not everyone in AU has middle names. There's also things like preferred names (someone usually known as "Dick" on all IDs but legally "Richard" on the birth cert) and mononyms (one-word names like "Beyonce"). The government has to accommodate all of these.

The only form I've seen where the middle name is absolutely required if you have it is on the citizenship application, I haven't seen anything else yet that required it.

@Supersaiyan don’t rely on employers to write the letters for you. You’re better off drafting it yourself then they just sign the letter once they agree that the info you’ve written there is correct. That way you avoid hassling them too much.
