What if spouse wants to work too?

Kamusta po sa lahat!

We are now in the process of applying for visa (state sponsored) and if God given kasama ang buong family na mag mirgrate. Tanong ko lang, pwede ba magwork si spouse (not primary visa applicant) sa AU and if yes ano yung mga documents na kailangan dalhin from Manila (like school credentials and others) para maging successful candidate to land a job? When I say documents, need din bang authenticated by a legal sector para maging valid magamit sa AU?

As long as you have the proper visa, pwede po mag work pero naturally may mga jobs na dapat registered sya sa professional body regulating that profession. So kung nurse dapat registered sa AHPRA. You will have to check kung anong regulating body sa specific profession.

For documents, bring everything that you think relevant... and have them digitized (scanned) kasi most submissions will be done electronically. No need for certification/notary if you have the original kasi you can have them certified here for free, should a need arise.

Thanks @cucci for your insights. When you say dapat registered sa regulating body, need din ni spouse mag pa-assess for example (for IT) sa ACS then yun ang isasama nya sa resume when applying for an opening?

@Pherds as long as may right to work and live ka doon anyone can apply for a job, primary man or not.

@Pherds If I am not mistaken, ACS is an assessing body for suitability for immigration just like ANMAC for nurses... the regulating body for nurses is NMBA with AHPRA handling the registration processes. Since PR na kayo no need to be assessed, however as I have mentioned, some professions are regulated just the way PRC does in the Philippines. If you want to practice in a certain profession, you may need to check with the regulating body for that.

If she is an IT I think no need. Common profession na need registered sa mga professional regulating authorities are the likes ng nurses, engineers, doctors, lawyers,., etc., bago maka pag practice ng profession nila sa AU.
