What evidence do I need to demonstrate my assets and financial capacity?

You must provide verifiable documented evidence that you have access to or ownership of the required amount of net assets. Assets can include cash; residential and commercial property; and personal property such as gold, jewellery, vehicles, etc. You must provide evidence of the value, for example independent valuations and purchase receipts. You must provide a summary sheet showing the values in Australian dollars.

Medical insurance policies, fixed deposits, public provident funds and government savings scheme investments can be used however the maturity dates must be within a reasonable period, or alternatively the funds must be able to be withdrawn early.

If your family are going to financially support you they will need to provide a statutory declaration advising that they are prepared to support you to a certain amount and they must show that they have these funds in liquid assets, for example withdrawable bank funds, not property. You will also need to show evidence of the family relationship.

The NT requires you to demonstrate your financial capacity so that we know you will be able to support yourself and your family while you establish yourselves and settle in the NT.

60 pts ako. at least 60 lang naman sa SS hindi pataasan ng points doon. they are more into the other requirements such as commitment letters, employability. etc.

@onehitwonder NT is very strict in sponsoring and giving 190 visa. I initially applied for 190 but not successful. They offer 489 kaya kinuha ko na din.

Hi everyone, im just new here, magtatanong lang po sana ako about sa financial capacity na nakapost sa website ng NT.
Gusto ko napo sana kase iprepare yung mga docs na pede naman na simulan ayusin.. ganito po kase situation ko,
May sister ako na nasa Sydney, sabi nya pede sya magstat declaration, ang prob ko naman po wala ako pagkkunan ng show money. Kasama ko sa apply ko sana yung asawa ko at isang anak ko, medyo malaki ung halaga ng show money, pero nag offer yung magulang ko na makipag joint account sa kanila, sa palagay niyo po tatanggapin kaya yun ng immigration? And ilang bwan dapat ung pera na nasa account bago maglodge sa knila?. Thanks in advance po.

@RPh lahat ng asset pede not only cash, isama mo stat dec, no harm nmn in including. About joint account naman pede din nmn. Pero mas maganda kong sa pangalan nyo sa parents mo nman ibalik nyo na lng. Nun time ko. 3 months transactions yung ininclude nmin.

May follow up question po ako sir, lets say po maipasa ko na yung OET exam ko then gusto ko napo maglodge ng application, unang step is magpasa ng EOI? Then maghhintay po ba ako ng response bago mag apply ng state nomination? Or pede sabay un? Un kaseng step na yun diko mahanap sa mga thread.

I am not sure if I consider nila ang joint account with parents at yung funds ng kapatid mo. include mo lang lahat ng assest na meron ka.

Hello po, im interested po to apply for visa 489 sa NT, accountant po profession ko. May mga questions lang po ako about settlement fund, 65k aud po kasi need namin since we are family of 4. Sa ngayon po we dont have this amount yet but in a few months po possible naman mabuo thru savings. Ask ko lang po sana at what stage kailangan proof of funds, pag nareceive na po ba ITA or from EOI dapat ready na? And need po ba ng job offer for accountant? Nasa high priority list naman po sya. Yung 65 pts po ba ay regardless kung ano nominated skills mo? Accounting student po ako dito sa Sydney. Done studying Bachelor and nakapag 485 visa na po ako.. now studying again MPA, and enrolment na naman po.. di ko na po kaya magbayad pa ng isa pang semester.. currently at 50pts ako.. natigil ulit ako magpraktis ng PTE
