@von1xx 2 yrs lang nadeduct sayo? galing... anu mga docs pinasa mo? sakin kasi 4 yrs dineduct ni acs.

@ced ou 2.5 yrs yung dineduct sakin, bali ung mga required ln din, coe with job details, TOR, degree cert, PRC cert, passport, birth cert saka nagask din ng CV. Yung CV na binigay ko yun gngmit ko din sa pagapply.

Seeking for help po. I'm also a graduate of BSECE sa TUP-Taguig but my work experience is Construction industry (Build & Design) sa Singapore 5.7yrs. Medyo malayo sa field ko na ECE. Malaking issue po ba sa pag-apply ganitong sitwasyon?

@von1xx salamat bro, PRC cert lang ang hndi ko naisama kasi hndi ko na makita... nagtry ako magrequest sa PRC dati kasi kelangan magrenew ng license at need ng CPD pts para makapagrenew kaya hndi ko rin naasikaso... ayun 4 yrs ang binawas... kng 2yrs lang may +5 pts pa sana ako...

@nommay1280 meron ako friend na graduate ng accountancy tapos ang work nya ay IT (application), nagkaissue sya sa ACS since malayo daw ang field of work sa degree nya. Ginawa nya nagagency sya, OK nmn result. Approved na PR niya at nasa AU na sya ngayon, migrated last December. Di ntn masasabi ang result sa application kasi case to case basis, basta complete docs mas OK assessment, try mo lang din apply.

@ced for renewal ndn ung license ko ngayon pero di pko nkkpgrenew ung CPD din kasi tlaga mahirap makuha pag hindi umattend ng mga seminars. wala din ako makuha sa exp kasi kulang ng 5months naman para magka 3yrs haha.

@segfault27 wala po ako cisco certs, bali PRC cert ln ung na-add sa mga requirements. Malaking tulong ndn tlga ung job details pasok dun sa code na pinaassess. section 2 din pala school ko, ung mga COE ko ako lahat nglagay ng job details tapos pinapirmahan ko nln sa mga dati kong lead. sana makatulong.

Good day po sa lahat, newbie here. Section 3 school po ako, and working as BA going 9 yrs na this April. I am assuming na when I pass my skills assessment they would deduct 4 yrs to my experience, so if i send my skills assessment today that would leave me with 4.x yrs of Overseas Work Experience, sayang po yung 5 points kasi mag fall under 3yrs and above lang po ako if ever.
Ang question ko po is if I pass skills assessment today and they assessed nga na 4.x lang ang years of exp ko, by the time na mag April 2019 po e pde ba ko mag pasa ng EOI declaring na 5 yrs na experience ko? since technically pasok na sa 5 yrs ang exp ko and i am still on the same job naman po currently.
Or magpasa na lang po ako ng skills assessment by April 2019 when I turn 9 yrs sa company? Gusto ko lang po sana makapag submit na ng maaga ng eoi e.

@greenloots kung makuha mo ang assessment mo before April 2019 at magfall man ang exp mo under 3+ yrs, pwde ka na magsubmit ng EOI (I assume ok narin PTE mo this time) basta may 65pts ka pwde ka na magsubmit, yung sa exp naman, ang alam ko naguupdate sa system automatically pag nareach mo yung 5 yrs work exp. basta nasa same company ka parin nung assessment mo.

@ced thank you po sa pagsagot. ahh so no need na po na magpa re-assess pa sa ACS ng panibago as long as nasa same company, ganun pala hehe. so automatic na po nila i-add ung yrs or may need po ako iupdate sakanila or need pa po ba sila i-email regarding this? naghahanap po kasi ako ng document about this kaso wala akong makita buti po nabanggit ninyo.

@greenloots yan ang pagkakaalam ko kasi sa EOI wala namang nilalagay na end date sa current company so tuloy tuloy lang and bilang nun. try mo din magconfirm sa thread ng ACS dito sa forum baka may makapagconfirm nitong sinabi ko... http://pinoyau.info/discussion/36/australian-computer-society-skills-application#latest

sa case ko naman need ko magpare-assess kasi ini-add ko yung una kong work experience para mkadagdag ng yrs at makaclaim pa ng 5pts.

anyways, not sure if this is the right thread to ask this to. pa-ff up question lang din po. kasi yung partner ko po is undergrad cya ng ECE din, but we have almost the same work experience as BA pero 8 yrs lang cya. pde pa rin po ba sya mag pasa ng skills assessment kahit undergrad siya, additional partner points din po kasi if ever. isang sem na lang po yung kulang nya before kaso money matters kaya nag work po sya agad at di tinapos course.

Hi! Kaka assess lang ni husband. ECE Grad from UE, which is Sec 1. With 13 years of work experience as a developer. Not licensed. Assessed yung qualification niya for ICT major and wala naman nadeduct sa work experience niya.

Hello! new member here, ECE grad and currently preparing documents for skills assessment (applying for Analyst Pogrammer - ANZSCO code 261311).

Mabuti na lang nakita ko itong forum at nalaman ko na pwede pala i-submit yung PRC certificate and hopefully makakatulong nga siya na 2 years lang mabawas sa work experience.

Questions:
1. PRC certificate - eto ba yung document na may breakdown ng scores ng Math, Electronics, GEAS and Comms?
2. AND/OR yung document na parang diploma na?
3. Nabasa ko dito sa thread na may categorization ang schools (sec 1, 2 and 3). Pwede ba ako makahingi ng link or reference sa ibang thread na meron?

Sakin po sinama ko pareho yung doc na may breakdown ng score saka yung parang diploma na certificate. Yung may "Lupon ng Inhenyero Elektronika" something yata yun.

Yung sa section po ng school, dun po yata sila nabebase din ng ibabawas sa years of experience. May friend po ako na wala sa list yung school nya, 6 years deducted sa kanya.

Hi, All! New member here sa pinoyau and still at the "gathering information before preparing documents" stage hehe

I'm an ECE graduate din po and passed the licensure exam din before working. Pero di ko na po na-renew license ko and IT na po work ko from the start. Just want to know pare-parehas lang po ba yung year na ibabawas sa experience naten na ECE course tapos IT yung work po? And how many years po ibabawas? pagkakabasa ko po kasi sa thread yung section ng school ang factor, pero maliban dun meron pa po ba iba factor?

Breakdown lang po ng experience ko: 1st company (9mos), 2nd company (5yrs), 3rd company (1yr3mos).

Mukhang school po yung pinakamalaking factor talaga, saka mukhang may naitulong din yung license sa mga ibang nabasa ko na nagappeal sa ACS para madecrease yung years na binawas sa experience nila.

Bale bukod sa section ng school, depende sa nominated skilled occupation mo kung ilan mababawas na # of years - kung gano ka-related ang content ng degree mo sa roles and responsibilities. Kung nasa 2613 yung occupation mo, usually mukhang 4 years mababawas. but if related sa Cisco or networking field, may chance siguro na 2 years lang.

Dapat sure ka din sa inonominate na occupation. Just in case hindi mo pa nakita, eto yung list ng skilled occupation and corresponding roles and responsibilities:

Sa reference letters pala as much as possible dapat closely related ilalagay since yan basis nila sa pag-assess. May guide na din doon sa first link na nilagay ko.

isa pa po pala question from a newbie hehe, what would you recommend po, PTE/Ielts muna before magpa-assess or assessment muna? I read here that some people have opted to take the PTE after the assessment. Thanks again!

@ozzybruno you’re welcome!

I think prepare and go for assessment, and during preparation and waiting for results, you can review for PTE/IELTS - it takes some time to practice. So by the time na OK assessment mo, you can take PTE/IELTS right away if you feel you’re ready.
