    @mafimushkila123 korean ang host namin. hindi naman mahirap naka-room kasi pwde naman kami tumambay sa any part ng bahay. pwede din kami magluto and since may market na malapit sa house mas nakatipid kami. yung lugar ng airbnb namin is karamihan asian so hindi kami nahirapan mag-grocery, para lang din kami nasa SG ang konti ng puti at yung mga ginagamit ko na ingredients sa SG/Pinas nabibili ko din.

    @RejNaix11 depende. Sa case ko, dapat weekend para nandun yung may ari ng bahay na titirhan ko. May work kc sila whole day pag weekday para lang hnd hassle.
    Pede mo din consider price ng ticket.
    Mode of transpo mo, taxi ba? Public transpo? Pag sunday fixed price ang pamasahe.
    May susundo ba sau? Sched nila?
    Etc.

    Hello guys share ko lang, dun sa mga mag BM this winter, sale po ang light puffer jackets (certain colors), heat tech, parkas, long sleeves / sweaters, etc. sa Uniqlo Bugis (SG).
    Check niyo na lang if sale din sa outlets near you. :-h

    @mafimushkila , nag bigmove kami direct to Oz from UAE. Nagcanvass kami ng cargo, tapos nagdecide kami na more economical kung ibenta nalang yong appliance namin. May kalumaan nari kasi. Namili nalang kami ng gamit sa Oz, reasonable naman prices at bago pa.

    Big move na rin po ako sa Apr sa sydney.

    Ito po based sa experience ko po

    1. Nagbook ako qantas one way nun na receive ko un grant last Sept from SG - SYD.
    NOTE: pag gusto nyo po avail un un migrant offer nila need nyo po tumawag sa kanila at sila po ang magbook sa inyo. (Nabook ko muna un akin before ko nakita un migrant offer kaya d ko na avail un promo nila)

    2. From sg to sydney pinagpilian ko po na cargo eh seven seas at singpost. Pinili ko un seven seas 2 tig 30 kg for 265 sgd + insurance and aus custom fee ang quute around 400 sgd total. They will give you 2 large box, bubble wrap, pentel pen and tape.

    3. Open an account sa commbank. From DBS no transaction fee. Currently mas mataas ang SG dollar. If d po ako nagkakamali 1 sgd = 1.03 aud ang exchange .

    4. Un mga Fall at winter clothes po sa pinas ako namili then kun may punta po sa SG na friend ko pinapasabay ko na lng po. Un enough lang para makasurvive habang wala pa po pambili hehehe. I bought mine thru online seller. Sa mga hindi picky about brand at kun bago, may mga online seller (fabshoppe888 or victoriaph) sa instragram ng mga pre loved item like Uniqlo (heattech) 5 pcs at 500 php. Thermal leggings for 200 php. Un winter coats not more than 1k php. Plus SF.

    @rjq.m almost same lng sila ng singpost. Sa singpost 132sgd for 20 kg kasama na daw un insurance. Not sure sa custom kasama and un mga boxes d pa kasama. Un seven seas recommended ng friend ko who also moved overseas but to NZ sila ng move.

    Yes. We opened an account on Commbank just recently. They have a savings account specifically for new migrants.

    @ginpomelo yes.. proactive approach.. kami before lodging, nagpamedical na..

    same goes with attaching Form 80 and 1221.. kinumpleto na yung possible docs na hahanapin, maiwasan lang ang CO contact at ma-Direct Grant

    @ginpomelo hello po. Butting In po. NBI pwede po kayo kumuha while waiting for invite though may possibility na mapaaga yung IED niyo from visa lodgement.

    For medical po, before lodging visa YES you can do so which is ginawa ng most applicants.
    Pero kung wala pa kayo ITA, check niyo po muna sa panel clinic kung i-aallow kayo mag undergo ng medical exam without ITA from DHA. Ang alam ko po hindi. :)

    Also, to undergo medical, you need HAP ID which can be generated from ImmiAccount.

    Wag po kayo mag madali hehe. Mabilis lang naman results ng medical, normally after a day or so unless may findings.
