Where to settle?

Hello everyone.

Nag apply ako with my family ng 189 last October. Based sa immitracker, they have started processing October applications and I am feeling positive na mag kakavisa na kami (the least we can do is to stay positive) :)

I am a nurse at nagtingin tingin ako ng vacancies and luckily, ung specialty ko is may demand sa states na gusto namen- WA, QLD and Vic. Ang dilemma namin ngayon is kung saan ba kami mag uumpisa.

It would be great to hear feedbacks sa mga fellow Filipinos who are already there.

We are a family of three who are currently in UK and looking forward to experience the Oz lifestyle.

Thanking you all in advance.

I say go for WA. From what I've heard, pinakamataas ang sahod ng nurses sa WA plus mas mababa ang cost of living daw.

I'm from Perth. I'm bias. Good luck

@bjsbelonio second this! My friends tell me na rent in perth can go as low as 115 a week. You can also work in FIFO settings here for big money. Di din crowded dito from my friend's stories compared to melb and syd.

And also. Perth lies in GMT+8 zone. You get to sleep and wake at the same with the Philippines. There's no need to sing Magkabilang Mundo by Jeremy Lin :)
