Hi!! Another question po sana, I've had two roles within 1 company and magkaiba din managers ko dun sa dalawang role na yun. Question lang sana po ano mas okay:

2 roles under 1 recommendation letter (signed by nung latest Manager? or signed by mas matagal ko naging manager?)
OR
1 role per recommendation letter (each signed by the respective manager)

I noticed kasi sa page 13 of https://www.acs.org.au/content/dam/acs/acs-skills/Skills Assessment Guidelines for Applicants V5-6 Aug 2018.pdf
na pinagsama nya under 1 recommendation letter. Pero not sure lang kung kanino nya pina-sign, dun sa mas matagal na manager o sa latest manager? haha hoping for suggestions

@ozzybruno similar case tayo. ang ginawa ko ay 1 reference letter for the 2 roles. Sa application sa ACS, ni-upload ko twice yung same recommendation letter for each of the role. Wala naman naging problema.

Pero yung akin ay naka-company letter head so si HR yung nag-sign.

For statutory declarations though if that’s one of your options, hindi ako alam ang best approach - perhaps separate letters from each manager is the way.

I'm having second thoughts ngayon ano dapat piliin ko huhu, if 261311 - Analyst Programmer or 261313 - Software Engineer.

Sa case ko po kasi ganito:
Company A - Associate Consultant (9months)
Company B - Senior Associate Analyst (3 years 11months)
Company B - DevOps Analyst (1 year 1month)
Company C - DevOps Engineer (1 year 4months)

Yung roles ko po kasi is more of L2 and L3 work po sa first two companies, so iniisip ko alin kaya talaga mas okay. I'm planning on going for 261311 - Analyst Programmer, pero hope to hear your advise sana kung ano ba mas appropriate. :-S

I think ang importante dito is yung roles and responsibilities sa reference letter mo (over job title) ay malapit sa nakadefine sa document. (e.g. writing codes, test, debug, etc) and sabihin mo rin kung anong language (Java, C#, etc) ang ginagamit mo.

Yung sabi mo na role mo ay L2 and L3, you mean operational support? Pwede mo siguro sabihin kung nagde-debug ka ng programs, nagsa-suggest or initiate code/process improvements sa systems, write operations procedure, etc. Basta kung ano yung ilalagay mo sa reference letter, gawin mo guide yung sa document ng ANZSCO hangga't maaari.

Hello, good morning. I'm new here and nag-gauge palang kung pwede ako magtry mag apply.

I'm an ECE grad from a section 2 school. Full IT ang experience ko, pero, magkaiba ng roles.

1 yr - service desk
3 yrs - operations support (incident management)
Almost 4yrs - IT business analyst

Ang aapplyan ko sana eh yung 261111: ICT Business Analyst.

Ask ko sana, yung 'relevant work experience' na madededuct sakin, counted ba yung previous work na non- IT Business Analyst? O dun lang sila titingin sa years na ang work ko is the same as the job title?

Hope someone can share their thoughts. Thank you!!

For assessment, mas importante yung roles and responsibilities na nakalagay sa employment reference letter over the job title.

There is a chance that your previous work experience can be considered if some of your tasks are within ICT Business Analyst scope. If you're going to write your R&R for your previous employers, you can draft it in such a way na mag-standout yung related roles na ginawa mo.

Also, factor din sa '# of years deduction' ang content ng curriculum mo sa college if related sa declared skill mo, i.e. ICT Business Analyst.

hello guys! newbie here.. naghhanap ako ng thread with Telco experience at dito ako napapad since ECE grad ako..

just wondering kung meron or wala bang madeduct sa exp ko since Sec.3 ang school ko at wala ako ni Cert/Licence hahaha

if ever possitive ang assessment, meron ba kayong mairerecomend san magandang State with high JO?

just curious po since 2 years lang po nabawas sa inyo. what was your nominated occupation po pala?..

ECE rin ako with 7.5 yrs of ITexp, from section 1 school and with PRC certificate as well.
Balak ko sana mag paasses once I have all the documents na, but my nominated occupation is either 261312 (developer programmer) or 261313 (software engineer)..

@segfault27 kamusta pala ung assessment mo, ilang points nabawas sayo..

@jaydot1989 263213 po ict systems test engineer. Sa pagkakaintdi ko kung nasa section 1, normally bachelor's degree ang assess, sa deduction naman nasa ACS guideline.

Points or years? Kung years, 4 years nabawas sakin.

Sa points, well, 5 points lang makukuha ko. Kasi lumalabas 4 years+ lang ang work
experience ko. Next year ako makaka5 so +5 din yun.

Walang akong PRC cert. Hiningan ako ng CV so ready mo na lang din yung sayo. mabilis lang yung assessment, wala pang 5 days ata simula nung nakumpleto ko yung mga docs ko. Medyo maraming palitan ng email na naganap sakin kaya tumagal yung start ng assessment. Haha.

Worry ko lang kung possible pa ba 'ko makakuha ng invite. 70 points lang max ko this year (superior english na yan). Yung invites this month at last month, 80 points na ang minimum sa 2613xx codes.

Yep i heard 80 points na ung minimum ngayon.. kasi april and may 100 lang nakuha for invite.. mejo pababa ang trend. Sana in the future magbukas ulit nang madami..

Hello po, magtatanong lang sa mga ka ECE ko dito.. licensed ECE po ako from sec 2 school, kaso di ko sinama yung PRC license sa requirements, tapos 6 years nabawas sakin sa for 261313 (Software Engineer). Anyone na may same case po sakin?

Hello, ECE Grad din Husband ko from AMA, Sec 2 din ata yon. Computer Network and Systems Engineer - ANZSCO 263111 naman sya.

4 yrs binawas samin ng ACS, di din kami nagsubmit ng PRC license.

AMA university is section 1 so the outcome letter, it was recognised as a degree….but we knew this already prior to lodging his skills assessment - because of the fact that the university is listed under section 1. The reason why he got those years taken off is because ECE is always recognised as minor in computing 😉
