good morning po sa lahat. posting for my sister po

magaapply po sana sya for july intake this year at wala po kami gagamitin na agent, own apply lang po kasi sabi din sa curtin na pwede naman at madali lang and medyo sakto lang po ang funds kaya we decided to go apply without agent. meron po ba dito na ganun ang ginawa? pwede po ba makahingi ng tips at magask ng questions sa inyo?

2017- graduated Nursing UST
2017- passed board exam
2018 march- started working march to july sa ace hospital sa manila as staff nurse
2018 july to present working sa mcu as staff nurse
2019 april aapply na sana ng online student application sa curtin

since 2018 2x sya nag ielts academic palagi may isang sablay kaya ung pang third nagtry sya pte academic pumasa na sya (thank God)

dito sya sa perth kasi dito kami nakatira maganak para may matuluyan sya

Bachelor Degree conversion program
1 yr (with units credited upon curtin approval)
6 mos, but ideal is 1 year or more work experience in a hospital setting
English requirement - All 7 or not less than 6.5 in all areas with 7 overall band score
International fee: $16,900 (tuition only)
Misc Fee : approx $1000 - $1500 for uniform, books and equipments
Must have health insurance for 1 1/2 year (if studying for 1 year, there should be 6 mos extra, if decides to go home after 1 year of study, remaining mos will be refunded)
must process student visa

Intake dates:
February - usual start of class is 3rd week of feb
July - usually 4th week

arrival must be two weeks before class start, orientation will be scheduled a week before the start of the semester.

tuition must be paid in full upon enrolment. partial payment plans not available for international student on student visa

school days will depend on how much units you can get upon application/ availability. its up to student to manage her unit intakes per day.

english proficiency test - this can be submitted later on but better if submitted together with the initial requirements for faster processing

Application fee is free for international applicants

Application processing will take about 1-2 mos (depends if all requirements are submitted.)
they usually respond to applications within 2 -3 weeks

nasa stage na po kami na kumpleto na lahat ng requirements at wait nalang coe sa mcu (current job nya) ang tagal nila magprocess hinohold kasi ayaw nila daw magbigay pag di pa resigned kahit pinaliwanag nya na di naman sya magreresign pa magtry lang apply muna fpr further study abroad. anyway eto po mga questions namin:

1. ung source of funds, diba po ba kailangan magpakita ng bank statement nakapangalan po sa mama namin ung bank acct na may funds. ok lang po ba un? kailangan po ba matagal na doon ang pera?

2. sa form about temporary genuine entry, may mga tanong kasi kng ano balak future plan, genuine reason to return to country after study mga ganun. ano po nilalagay nyo sa strong ties pra babalik ka sa pinas at di magsstay dito
magaapply ng PR? nabasa ko po kasi sa google na parang may student visa interview daw po at ganyan ang mga tanong. totoo po ba un? baka po
pwede hingi tips sa isasagot lalo dun sa strong ties para mapatunayan na babalik kapa sa pinas. kasi bukod sa magulang nya, wala naman na sya iba malakas na dahilan. wlaa na sya babalikan na work kasi baka matagal sya dito graduate na din sya doon. wala sya business etc.

3. may iba pa po ba kailangan iprep bukod sa usual na iuupload sa application? kailangan pa po ba iupload din diploma ng highschool?
sa relatives po dito sa australia kasi sabi namin sa form full board and lodging kami so inupload ko lang po aussie passport ko at proof ng bahay namin dito. ung tuition at airfare nilagay namin kapatid ko bahala. o kailangan pa din po namin na ilagay ung bank statement ko?

4. any additional info, tips, things we need to know po you can add na di ko po namention?

@bawbea How's your sister's application?
1. DIY din po ako as student visa sa Perth and di na po nag upload ng bank statement or any declaration. It is not required but recommended.
2. About GTE, we just need to reiterate that we will be studying there for a year and going will go back to our home country.
3. The required documents to be uploaded are: passport, COE, Health insurance certificate, GTE, birth certificate and marriage certificate if available.

Sis may plan ka rin ba mag take ng board exam for AU-RN? Kasi nag inquire naman ako sa agency dito sa Makati un ang offer nila, student visa dito then review sa kanila.

hello @athenalaine, Naka student visa nako for July intake sa ECU. Do your research sa mga agencies ok? Pwede ka naman mag DIY.

@athenalaine just try to take an English Test (Ielts, pte or oet) then apply ka sa mga university na you want. The next Intake for conversion is feb 2020.
