Im in the process of creating a draft/sample for employee reference that my employer can use to provide me the official Employee reference (with company letter head, hr manager signature etc...)
Advisable po ba to have the same wordings for Employee references on my 2 previous companies.
Bali ang difference lang between them are the Company Name, Start-End date, Position, Job descriptions ?
Or need po ba talaga sila worded in a different manner.
Thanks!

However, if you decide to transfer to a new company prior to October you will need to have your skills assessed again if you want to claim points for your latest work experience

Basically if you’ve got 6 years experience now, if your qualification is equivalent to an AQF bachelor degree than the will deduct two years from it so you can only claim 4 years but you accumulate the time of experience unless you change employers. If this is your situation, no need to delay your ACS application.

“@jaaarman As far as I know, ACS will follow the dates mentioned in your reference letter. For example, if your Company states that you are employed up to present and ang date ng letter is June 6, 2019 hanggang doon lang ang ilalagay nila sa result letter. If you submit an EOI prior to your work anniversary in October, you still cannot claim 10pts for 5 years of work exp (even if it’s few months away nalang) but you can claim 5pts points for your actual work exp - 4+ years (after the two year deduction). However, your points in your application will automatically increase naman along with your experience. By October, there is no need for re-assessment if you want to claim additional points for your updated work experience as long as you’re staying in the same company that was assessed by ACS and the result letter is still valid.
However, if you decide to transfer to a new company prior to October you will need to have your skills assessed again if you want to claim points for your latest work experience ”
Hindi po kasi naroround off ang work experience even if your work anniversary is just a few months away. So if you have your skills assessed ngayon, you can’t claim points for 5 years of work exp yet. Now you have these options depending on your timeline (when you want to lodge your EOI, career plans and etc) and the points that you want to target for your occupation:
1. Have your skills assessed now and in your EOI you can claim 4+ years of exp or 5pts (if 2 years ang deduction ng ACS from your current experience). Then if you decide to stay in the same company until October, you don’t need another skills assessment because your initial assessment will still be valid and your points in your application will be automatically adjusted according to your current work experience - so magiging 10points na sya. You just need to attach in your application an updated reference letter proving that you are still working for the same company at that time. However, if you decide to move to another company after your ACS skills asssessment and before October, kailangan mo magpa assess uli kasama na yung bago mong experience with the new company if you want to claim points for that experience.
2. Have your skills assessed in October and claim the appropriate points.
Overall, it depends nalang on your target points, preferred timeline and your career plans (whether staying on the current company or not)on which option will suit you best. Hope this helps

Also to add, it cannot be assumed that he could straight away claim more points on his exact date of his “work anniversary” as it really all depends on the date on the outcome decision from ACS. As mentioned before, it will state there from what month and what year work experience is recognised.
If @jaarman would have been my client and based on how I understood his situation, he could apply for skills assessment now and make sure not to change employer until after October.

Meron po ba nag may 6 months, 6 months lang na job experience? ang nangyari kasi sakin is under agency ako, then after 6 months nabili nang another agency yung former, pero ayaw i-recognize nang new agency yung tenure ko from previous so yung remaing half lang ang binigay nila sakin. Will this affect the assessment?
Thank you.
