Iba iba depende sa state and gaya nga po ng sabi ko earlier, number of dependents present in the household. Depende din kung may nagaaral ba. Also, how much you eat out, travel etc.
I reckon, about 4-6 months budget for everything (house rent, bills, shopping, insurances etc.). Pero if its really tight 3-4 months cguro as minimum. This is if you're moving and wala pang sure na work. As for the exact figures, you have to research more on the area you're going to. You can find the median rent for example in realestate.com.au. You'll then have an idea on how much to allocate for rent. Same as with the rest of the categories.
When my wife and made the move 2 years ago and with a secured job, we had around 21K AUD. Kinailangan namen ng kotse so 5k went into purchasing one. Then nag advance ng 4 weeks sa place as rentals. Siguro we spent about roughly 1k for the food and internet during our first month. Tapos our electricity was 100/month (expensive) and water was billed quarterly.
Presently, eto po breakdown namen for expenses:
Rent: $300/week
Internet, phone, TV: $300/month
Vehicle: 358/ fortnight
Insurances: $350/month (health), $120/month(2 vehicles). $150 (home contents), $58/month (idemnity)
Shopping: $100/max a week (groceries), no fancy stuff.
Dine out: $100/fortnight
Petrol: $130/ fortnight (both vehicles), sometimes less.
location: Regional QLD

@BARTMANGK Saan po kayo located? Essentially, if you don't have much knowledge about cars and first time po kayo bibili, I would highly recommend buying from a car dealer. Simply because they would've taken care of the vehicle even if it was a second hand. They will usually have couple of months warranty as well. Where as kung sa tao lang, pwede ka loko-lokohin even though meron silang tinatawag na "road worthy certificate" or "safety certificate".
