Another question po regarding Employment section sa EOI.. Need ba lagyan ng end dates (date to) yung mga previous positions sa company as a result of promotions kahit dun pa din naman currently working ngayon?

Hi, question lang po. I am an internal auditor and my long time girlfriend (5 years) is a Speech Pathologist. We are searching for the best way na magrant kami ng VISA not right now but in the near future.

As an auditor, I need 85+ points to be invited, I think. Dahil sa dami nadin ng supply internal auditors.

So we're thinking na mas okay na si GF ang mag apply tapos de-facto ako. How can I know if mas mababang points need nya? I think speech pathologist na nag aapply are not that many.

Based on my understanding sa picture attached, even lower than 80 have a chance to be invited. Can someone please help me and clarify this? Thank you!

@secretzai right now she’ll need to have st least 80 points to be prioritised for an invite on 189 visa. The thing is 189 Visa isn’t the only type she can apply, there’s 190 which is isn’t subject to points priority and 489 as well. Technically, once one has to get at least 65 points to be eligible to apply for a skilled Visa, the higher it is the sooner you get invited.

It’s hard to plan on these things when you’re not even looking at getting the process started now. Rules keep on changing so by the time you decide to get things underway, new rules would have been implemented already. Hope that makes sense.

Hello again! Need your honest opinion on our qualifications.

Spouse and I are in an in-demand skill for the past 10 years but our bachelor's degrees are really far from our professions. I have an incomplete MA related to my work and Im sure this is going to be disregarded in the skills assessment. My question is, is still worth the risk we apply for skills assessment? Is there a better option for us?

I'm a licensed teacher and I have been teaching various levels from preschool to HS in the last 10 years. At present I am in secondary level. Bachelor's is lit. Currently taking MA in Educ.

Econ major naman asawa ko but profession is graphic design. No MA, no certificate course, na train lang ng office and self-study lang siya.

Ayun, we have IELTS na din. Ok din band scores namin. Pero still thinking if worth a try ba may skills assess since di naman aligned ang courses namin. Baka kasi di kami pasok sa skilled worker stream ng Au.

@kiteano what's your plan to nominate as occupation?
Have you checked which assessing body, requirements, docs required etc... If you have those details it will help you make a decision.

@kiteano you need to have at least a bachelors degree plus an initial teacher education qualification along with supervised teaching certificate. If you have all these then it will work otherwise no point applying for skills assessment. Re your husband, both formal qualification and work experience are required.

@kiteano If your husband will nominate Graphic Designer he will be assessed by Vetassess. Ideally related yung degree nya sa occupation pero kung hindi naman, may ganitong option sa website - If the degree is not in a highly relevant field, three years of employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years in a field which is highly relevant to the nominated occupation is required. This is reduced to two years if there is an additional qualification at least at AQF Diploma level in a highly relevant field.

Kung kaya naman yan ma-meet ng husband mo and you think he will have enough points to be invited baka naman it's worth a try.

@kiteano Oo nga pala, nagbabawas ng years of experience ang Vetassess before they consider you "at an appropriate skill level" so mas maganda kung marami kang years of experience.

Yep we reviewed AITSL guidelines medyo may apprehensions lang kami kasi yun nga, palipat lipat ako ng level. Ang goal namin sana ay si hubby through VETASSESS. Will try to look into what maguero suggested since he has been in the fiel for 10+ yrs na.

Parang di masyadong clear ung last sentence para sa amin. Ganyan din po ba nareceive nyo na response?

Any suggestions on what to do next? Iattach sa visa application under “Other Documents” or wait pa po ng further reply sa kanila?

Hello everyone,

Question po para sa mga nakapaglodge na ng EOI and nabigyan na ng invite:

Done na 'ko sa skills assessment and PTE. Next step is obviously ang EOI. Currently, if magllodge ako ng EOI, ang max points ko lang na kaya maclaim is 70 points (superior english na).

Yung occupation ko is pro prata, currently requiring 80 points. (Software and Applications Programmers, 2613xx).

I'm planning to take ng NAATI-CCL para makasungkit ng 5 additional pts. And next year, mag5 years work experience ko, so that's additional 5. So basically, papasok pa lang ng 80 yung points ko next year.

My question is recommended ba na maglodge na ko ng EOI, kahit 70 pts. pa lang?

Pano ba lakaran pag example, 70 ako today, then naging 75 ako bukas. Ibig sabihin ba papasok ako dun sa dulo ng queue ng mga naka 75 na?? Then pag nag 80 ako after 1 month, then dun ulit ako sa dulo ng queue ng mga naka 80 na?

@segfault27 mag EOi ka lng. Pag may increase ka in any of which, update mo lang. Pag may changes yung date of update, yun ang magiging date of effect ng EOI mo.

Usually ganun, kung sino una nag EOI sya una maiinvite as long as mataas points. Tama ka parang on queue ang kalakaran. Pero for sure maiinvite ka nyan. Check mo iscah for updates when to receive invites sa occupation mo. Goodluck!

Hi! Currently nsa Dubai po ako working here for 3 years and planning to get Student Visa in AU. May sibling po ako 2 nsa AU with family in PR Visa. Pa help po ako what best to do in my case pra mka punta to work & study maybe. Meron po ba kau ma recommend na agency here in Dubai? Any suggestion po in my case.

similar concern here. ako naman concern ko yung mabigyan ako ng grant tapos less than 6 months na lang validity ng passport. i'm currently waiting for visa grant pero my passport is about to expire on feb 2020.
