I think thats a better idea. Baka within 9 months lang may decision na. Mga future applicants should consider that. As for me wala pa notice sa immi account.

di ba on the average mas mabagal ang 820 kaysa 309 visa?

    820 visa
    75% of applications: 22 months
    90% of applications: 28 months

    309 visa

technically speaking yes. but unfortunately sa mga nababasa ko sa forum mas umuusad ang 820 kesa 309. given that 820 is processed in aus and 309 in manila. one of the FB respondent nga kwento nya ngapply cya ng 820 onshore last june 2018 at kahapon may grant na siya. my husband applied june 2018 offshore at hanggang ngayon walang contact whatasoever from CO. So mapapaisip ka talaga

Bridging visa is maapproved agad once na nagpasa na kayo ng application for Partner Visa. if meron pa kayo on going na visa like tourist, saka lang siya mag take effect.

    Hi everyone,

    Finally it can be said.

My partner’s 309 visa was approved yesterday after almost 18 months.

    Here’s our timeline:

    Visa 309 lodged: March 11,2018
Medicals front loaded : April 16,2018
Request for more info: January 2019
    Renewed passport: April 12,2019
    Visa Grant: Sept 6, 2019

Recently, I uploaded our messenger chats since 2016 and proof of my AUS citizenship.

Actually, I was worried that our application may go through a difficult processing since ours is a same-sex set up.

But hey Australia has said yes and so we are ready to tie the knot soon as he arrives here next week, with a job waiting for him!!!

I couldn’t be thankful enough. Now we could start our lives together.

For those still waiting, don’t lose hope. The wait may be long but it’s what makes the grant all the more sweet and victorious.

    Goodluck to everyone!

@roliboy thank you po sa reply sir..

Good day sa lahat, ngayon po na partner visa is "we need to approve your sponsor" ayun sa Doha website, anu po meaning nito? anu po ang criteria nng mga sponsors? thank you po.

@kindred congrats sa inyo ng partner mo...

Yup. Thanks. My partner is flying next week.
Regarding your question. “ we need to approve your sponsor”. I think it’s a recent change in the immigration policy for partner visa. That means your sponsor must be approved for the same criteria as the applicant ( character, financial capability to sponsor ). If your sponsor gets approved, then you can lodge your application for 309.

    Goodluck to you as well!

You’ll get there too. God is soo good!!
