You will have to contact your prospective school(s) regarding specific requirement for the bridging program.... assuming that there will still be slots for the next few months before the OBA pathway takes effect.
The list of schools with approved bridging programs can be found here.

AHPRA and NMBA is one process... AHPRA is the agency tasked by NMBA to handle registrations. Your school should assist you with the registration. I am not aware of the process because I did not go through it. After registration, you will need to have your skills assessed by ANMAC so you need to get your docs in order. Another thing I am not sure is whether you will make use of the modified or the full skills assessment. Please see ANMAC website for the correct process.

Hi @jjlara registration will take 4-8 weeks after application. if you want to stay, the only option is to go to school again and apply for student visa.. some will enroll in leadership or other short courses related to Nursing then get a student VISA.. in that way, once you have registration, you can work as agency/part-time nurse while on student VISA..

Since you question is hypothetical, would it be correct to presume na may slot ka nang nakuha for BP? I am asking kasi it is almost the last quarter of 2019 and if AHPRA pushes through with OBA early next year baka di na valid ang assumption mo regarding BP. It is not yet known kung ano magiging procedures for the OBA, gaano ito katagal which would dictate kung ano ang magiging required visa para dito.
However, kung naka-secure ka na ng slot for BP this year... BP will usually max out the 90 days max per stay of a visitor visa. More or less you only have about 2 weeks after BP. If you intend to stay via student visa route, you will need to process everything during your BP so that you can lodge the visa application and be granted Bridging Visa to allow you to stay while your student visa is being processed.
Another option, since normally visitor visas are granted for 1 year, it would be cheaper to exit Au and be back after a month or so. By that time, your AHPRA registration would be ready and if you have prepared your documents beforehand, apply for ANMAC assessment and lodge your PR visa application (189, 190) depending on your circumstances.
This will entail a lot of timing and the key-word is "decision-ready application", meaning you have everything ready for the next steps of the process.

This post seem to be a good read for you.
_https://www.seekvisa.com.au/studnet-visa-and-changing-courses/
STUDENT VISAS AND CHANGING COURSES
If you hold a Student visa and are thinking about changing your course of study, ensure that you continue to meet all the conditions that apply to your student visa.
If you have not completed six months of your principal course (the main course of study you are undertaking) and you want to change your education provider, the ESOS National Code explains the circumstances in which this will be possible. Unless special circumstances apply, you usually need to have permission from your existing education provider to transfer to another education provider.
If you want to transfer, your education provider must assess or consider your request to transfer. All education providers have documented procedures about their transfer policy. Make sure you understand your education provider’s transfer policy, and what your written agreement says you must do, before you attempt to enrol with a new education provider.
If your education provider does not give you permission to transfer to another education provider and you are not satisfied with the outcome, you should first use your education provider’s internal appeal process. If you are still not satisfied, you can appeal the education provider’s decision at an external complaints handling body such as the State or Territory Ombudsman or the Overseas Student Ombudsman.
STUDENTS HOLDING A STUDENT VISA (SUBCLASS 500)
If you already have a student visa and want to change your main course of study to a lower Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level course or a non-AQF level course, you will generally need a new student visa. This requirement applies even if the course you change to is with the same education provider.
You will not need to apply for a new visa if you are changing from an AQF level 10 course (doctoral degree) to an AQF 9 course (Masters degree).
For example:
if you are studying a Bachelor of Science (Level 7) at a university and wish to transfer to a Diploma of Accounting (Level 5) at the same institution, you would need to apply for and be granted a new student visa.
if you are studying a Certificate IV (AQF level 4) and want to transfer to an ELICOS course (non-AQF course), you will need to apply for and be granted a new student visa.
If you are studying a non-AQF course and want to transfer to an AQF course, you would not need to apply for a new student visa._

@Akijo Sorry to hear about that. You have to be careful kasi your visa is under them and immigration is really strict with attendance kasi isa yan sa mga visa conditions. The school might report you to immigration as well. I hope though na madaan sila sa pakiusap. Have you paid the whole tuition fee yet? Maybe check with a migration agent kung may paraan.

How can we apply for OBA? Is it still the same? Thru AHPRA (AGOS-40) but instead of referral to bridging program they will issue referral to undergo OBA? Same requirements need to send to AHPRA? Any idea guys? TIA

Full information about the media release about the OBA can be found here.
In the absence of any word regarding the registration process, it seems the same forms are still usable.
_When will the OBA for IQNMs start?
There are two phases for the transition to the OBA:
From 1 October 2019, IQNMs who hold relevant but not substantially equivalent qualifications (and who meet the mandatory registration standards) will have the choice to be referred to a bridging program or to the OBA (which will be available from January 2020).
From January 2020, IQNMs with a referral to the OBA will be able to begin the OBA process.
The new model assessment will commence from January 2020, and all IQNMs with relevant but not substantially equivalent qualifications (and who meet the mandatory registration standards) will be referred to the OBA and will no longer be referred to bridging courses._
