@RobertLawrence magpasa ka na lang, let say successfully assess ka nga as Eng Tech, paano naman yung sa Education mo? kung wala kang PRC baka ma-assess (most likely) yung Qualification (educational level) mo as Trade Qual o Diploma = 10 points lang yun, compara as Bachelor Degree na 15 points.

Fyi, dalawa ang inaassess ni EA - 1) yung occupation and 2) Qualification (kung equal xa sa Educ. Standard qualification ni Aus)
Napakalaking 5 points ang mawawala sayu kapag nagkataon.

isama ko na din yung dagdag sa mga ina-assess ni EA, 3) yung relevant experience o RSEA, most of the time helpful, keso may isolated case din naman na hinde hehehe

@VirGlySyl , may punto po kayo. Salamat sa impormasyon. Irerenew ko nalang pala yung PRC license ko pag-uwi this december. Nalaman ko rin pala na hindi kelangan ng CPD points pagworking ka abroad. Eto yung email ng PRC secretariat sa akin ngayon lang.

Registered Professional Electronics Engineers (PECE), Electronics Engineers (ECE) and Electronics Technicians (ECT) working overseas shall not be covered by the CPD requirement. Professionals working abroad shall not be covered by the CPD requirement during the period of their employment abroad, the required proof of the professional working overseas is valid Overseas Employment Contract (OEC) or valid Employment Contract duly approved by the POEA.

So pinakamagandang solusyon bago mag-launch ng Skills Assessment sa EA is magrenew nalang ng PRC license. At least bago gumastos ng malaki sigurado na complied lahat ng requirements.

@RobertLawrence pero kung nasa Secton 1 school ka naman, parang okay na ata kahit wala, di ko lang sure pero may nabasa akong ganun dito., pero sa mga suregurista, ginagawa na lang nila lahat ng posibleng pwedeng hingin.

@RobertLawrence good to know that they returned this policy. In 2017 when I renewed my license they required 45 points cpd good thing I attended AGMs I've been an OFW since 2013. If that's the case, better renew your license before submitting to EA..

@ahyen I think there is a catch here. Ewan ko lang ah if tama ba pagkaka-interpret ko. So kung ganito na hindi daw kelangan ng CPD points sabi ni PRC, meaning pwede humingi nga COGS sa IECEP by presenting OEC. Kac nasa requirement din nila ang CPD points eh.

Good evening everyone! Need your help lang regarding my ea account. I submitted my application yesterday, Oct 16, using my cousin's credit card. I tried logging in today and I couldnt get in. Tried resetting my password but it said the website doesnt recognize my email account, and that I should check that my email acct matches the billing address they have on record.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you in advance for your advise.

@jedd_allen while we wait for answers ng may similar cases, upon payment e ni key in mo ba yung billing address ng cousin mo?
very unlikely lang kasi na all of a sudden e na ilock ang iyong account.
tapos if biglang di nila marerecognize ang iyong email account san sila mag sesend ng correspondence?

Ganito gawin mo (if sakaling di mo pa nagawa) - use the recent email that includes your tax invoice tapos yun ang iforward mo sa EA then just tell them kung ano nangyari at kung bakit di ka na makalog in and yung sa tingin mong possible reason (using your cousin’s credit card) and billing address. Let them know na authorized naman ang paggamit mo ng credit card ng cousin mo.
Make sure din na walang recent issue sa EA in terms of failed log in, etc.

sa email with the tax invoice, may email address na nakalagay doon. Balitaan mo din kami for reference

@alegnallanes @serge3 try to check search engines sa mga CDRs. may mga makikita kayo samples dun. dun lang ako nag download ng mga samples dati.

medyo mahirap talaga ang cdr gawin. sakin ata almost 1year ko ginagawa yung 3 cdrs (may work din kasi at hindi ko maintindi araw araw).

@alegnallanes we’ve all been there and gaya namin, matatapos mo din iyan. start from identifying 3 major projects that you have lead and completed and you should be able to progress from there. Kapag nakatapos ka ng isa, magiging mas manageable na ang mga susunod.
Quick tip - read the criteria sa Professional Engineering summary kasi need mo iyan i match sa iyong cdr. Atleast mag ka idea ka on how to present it in such a way na naka tally sya sa summary mo. Goodluck.

@RobertLawrence @VirGlySyl @ms_ane licence isn’t required but to have the qualification recognised as an AQF bachelor degree, you need to at least present evidence that you pass the prc licencing exam - I believe such evidence do not expire but the actual licence does.

I just lodged my assessment application (CDR + RSEA), without availing the fast track option. Based on my self assessment, I can claim 80 points before my birthday on January 6, 2020. After which I will only be able to get 75 points. If ever I get to submit my EOI after my 33rd birthday next year, do you guys think I still have a chance to get an invitation for my nominated profession (Civil Engineer) or would it have been better if I availed the fast track option?

@jedd_allen given the waiting time on EOI, I don’t think doing a fast track would make a difference as it’s unlikely you’ll get an invite before your birthday. The reality is that the timeline between now and January is too soon - that’s just around 8 weeks away less time spent waiting for skills assessment decision. I’ve never received invites for my clients that soon since 2017. I can’t guarantee though how things will unfold with the new 491 and points policy. No one knows in the end so it’s your own gamble.

@jedd_allen it varies. It’s dependent on several factors. You can’t estimate things this way by comparing yourself with others. Each case is different. Invites are computer generated on skills select as it’s programmed dependent on points and on visa types. No one can possibly predict the waiting time of each aspiring migrant. One can only hope for the best. What I can only say is it’s months to wait for sure. Best to just focus on aiming for the highest points possible. Other than that, it’s all beyond our control.

Mmmmm.. Tama lang un ginawa mo. Kahit mag-avail k ng fast track, mababawas p din 5 points pag nag bday ka. Isave mo n lang pandagdag sa visa. I'm not sure un trend ngaun pero tingin ko mataas n yan for CE. Punta ka sa Iscah website. May forecast sila kung anung points un makakakuha ng invite based the nkreceive ng invite.

Maraming salamat po ... Electrical Engineer po ako at currently working here in Philippines as Product Quality Engineer sa isang electronics manufacturing

189 and 190. Pero abangan mo din un changes sa point system this November. May bagong visa din sila n iniissue eh kaso d ako familiar. Un nabasa ko +10points sa single at +10 points ata sa couple the professional. Search mo lang sa net.

Hi ulit!
tanong ko lang eversince pumasa ako ng Civil Engineer hindi ako nakapagrenew ng PRC dahil hindi naman required ng company, Ang tanong ko po ay kailangan pa ba mag renew ako kasi katakot takot na penalty ang babayaran ko or OK na din certificate lang pag dating sa evaluation?

@Enhinyero19 ..as per MSA Brochure, need po talaga 3 career episodes which are not limited only to your experience but can also be any projects during your tenure as an Engr. may nakalagay po sa brochure kung ano po yung pwede mo ilagay sa career episodes mo. God bless and all the best po.
