Thank you sa input sir. More on IT ung job ko. :( :( :(

@phoenix325 na check nyo na po ba yung MSA booklet? May guide dun para sa buong EA assessment process even paggawa ng CDR and summary statement, baka po makatulong sa inyo para ma-align mo yung skills mo sa requirement ni EA.

Hello po! Mechanical Engineer here. Share ko lang po yung docs and info na sinubmit ko for reference ng mga nasa same category. (Sorry na po agad kung medyo magulo ✌)

Applied for MSA CDR Professional Engr ANZSCO 233512 with Relevant Skills
    Date submitted: June 30, 2019
Received outcome letter: Aug 7, 2019

Reason why medyo matagal kahit fast track:

Hahahaha! Ganun kalala pag computer based speaking 😅)
Weekend before exam ako nagreview kaya di talaga pumasok sa superior. Yan tuloy take 3 hahaha

Total of 4yrs yung work exp ko from CE1
    to CE3.
CE1 - about sa completed project na hinandle ko on my 3rd job

    Primary Docs:
3rd & 4th job - letter of endorsement and cert of employment

    Secondary docs:
3rd job - SSS & Philhealth (yan lang talaga!)
4th job - Work pass in-principle approval from govt (Singapore), work pass, payslips (1 month each year + latest one)

Hindi pa ako maglalodge since magpapa assess pa si hubby for Engineering Technologist. Baka may tips po kayo jan! 😄

Salamat! Nawa'y makatulong. God bless sa lahat! 😊

    hello :) @castm007

your assessing body is not after the amount of contribution pero more like looking at it as a proof of employment - so mas mahalaga na if you declared 5 years of work experience sa company A - e maipapakita mo ito sa iyong SSS summary na may reflected contribution ka for 5 years for Company A.

no worries :) since ang work experience assessment is focused on current 10 years of experience, mas preferable na you recall yung projects na na-lead mo within the 10 year period and yun ang gamitin / i present mo for your career episode.

Hi po. Tama po, yung COE ko "currently an employee of (company) since (commencement date)" yung nilagay ng HR namin.

Therefore, provided you submit the information requested above, your application will be considered for an outcome of Engineering Technologist (233914)."

If that’s the case, you might just want to settle with Engineering Technologist since the reality, as what you mentioned, you’ve got not much experience as mechanical engineer. Hence, there is nothing more evidence you can provide. Engineering technologist isn’t too bad, at the moment you’ve got ACT and Victoria as options. Good luck

If na assess kana ni EA as professional engineer pwede ka ba ulit mag pa assess pero ibang field of engineering naman?

Hi all! I got a positive skills assessment from EA last May 2019. My occupation is IE. Nagpa-add din ako ng assessment for relevant skills to be sure. I was claiming for 5.5 years of relevant experience, which was in a local bank doing IE work i.e., process improvements, Lean Six Sigma. But I was devastated to find out that EA did not recognize those years of experience as relevant to IE. I provided detailed reference letters and 2/3 career episodes related to that bank but I was really surprised why it was not acknowledged as relevant. The assessor sent me a note saying "Please note that work experience in the finance/banking industry will NOT be recognized as relevant skill experience for Industrial Engineer. Please let me know your awareness of this to proceed." I responded that I was not aware of such industry restrictions but the final report still did not reflect my experience. As expected, I didn't get any word from the assessor.

    A few questions:

    1) Does anybody here know about such industry restrictions for IEs? Anyone here had a similar experience before?

    2) Do you suggest that I push for an informal review with EA?

    3) Can I claim those 5.5 years of experience once I lodge my EOI, despite the EA result not indicating such years of experience? I understand that DHA will do their own assessment. Is this an accurate statement?

Appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks in advance!

hello @danj - thanks for sharing. IE din ako and here are my answers.

    A few questions:

    1) Does anybody here know about such industry restrictions for IEs? Anyone here had a similar experience before?
As an IE, we pride ourselves for our ability and flexibility to be in whatever industry we like to join in. We can enter finance, manufacturing, technology /IT - maski sa ospital or sa airport - maraming nagagawa at na cocontribute ang IE and are able to excel.
The only explanation I can possibly think is that, for some of these industries (ex banking/ finance) - restrictive ang maari natin ma contribute and the full potential of being an industrial engineer is not exercised. Considering the job description that has been set for Industrial Engineers, only 1 out of the 9 job description ang possibly covered ng experience ng isang IE sa bank/finance industry and this is for below

Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation

Similar to your experience for process improvement and Lean Six Sigma.

    2) Do you suggest that I push for an informal review with EA?
    - EA already provided an answer to your question but it won’t hurt if you would like to have clarification. Para sa iyong peace of mind, knowing na you did everything that you could.

    3) Can I claim those 5.5 years of experience once I lodge my EOI, despite the EA result not indicating such years of experience? I understand that DHA will do their own assessment. Is this an accurate statement?

    - I don’t recommend claiming for this experience. It will be too risky and may cause you to commit over claiming of points and eventually having your visa application rejected.
It is true that DHA conducts their own assessment.
In your case na hindi approved ng EA, it would be too risky to claim for the experience and have DHA decide.
Try to think of it this way, ano ang posibleng mangyari or magbago for DHA to consider your experience given na meron na silang sinusunod na basis na “ experience in banking/ finance is not considered as skilled experience for Industrial Engineer”.
Naka mark na ito sa recent EA application mo whereby the CO have access to and can have another check.

Overall - AU is seeking for skilled experience, and not just work experience. Yan ang ma consider naten as reason.

Find other means to increase your points kung kaya pa. Sayang ang 5 years of experience pero sad to say there’s no way na you could have known of this beforehand, maski ako nagulat. I guess this is something that an experience migration agent would know.

Best of luck sa iyong susunod na steps.

Hi @ms_ane, thank you very much for your inputs, especially on #3. Yup, that industry restriction was a real shocker for us. That's why I decided to share it here, baka may aware sa atin. But in any case, I hope this will also shed some light on EA assessment for our fellow IEs out there who are also in the banking industry and are planning to emigrate. I learned it the hard way so I hope ako na ang last!

We'll stick to our plan B where my wife will be the primary applicant and we'll just claim points for her experience plus hopefully the additional partner points in Nov 2019 -- I know, despite the lackluster results of the Aug 2019 round. But we're still praying that things will get better for all of us. Btw, congrats @ms_ane on your visa grant! God bless you!

    @danj no worries :)
tama yan , take it as a minor setback and good thing about sa inyo is may plan b kayo. makikita mo na soon e you’ll be able to work your way through it yan :)

and while your 5 years of work was not recognized by EA, I am certain na magiging maayos pa din ang work na makukuha mo sa AU - dahil sabi ko nga, ang IE maski san mo ilagay e lumalaban yan :)

at salamat ulit sa pag share ng iyong experience in an effort to help other IE’s na mabigyan ng heads up regarding this industry restriction.

Hello. Can anyone shed some light on how to send PTE score report to EA? There's no search result found when searching Engineers Australia on the Institution/organization/dept/school field. Thanks.

Hello everyone. I need advice sana regarding sa work experience ko. Is it possible na "ma-credit" yung work experience even without govt docs (sss, pagibig, philhealth, itr)?

3 out of 4 of my employers were "startups" kaya di pa nakapagregister sa mga govt agencies.

Any inputs will be surely appreciated.

    Salamat!

We are hoping to get a positive assessment from EA for partner points.

My case is I am a graduate of Electrical Engineering and had a 3-year relevant experience, but it was from 2012 to 2015. I am now working in a different field. I am able to provide all the necessary documents to be assessed as Electrical Engineer (ANZSCO 233311) including CDR.

My question is, is it possible to get a positive EA Assessment for a non-recent relevant experience.

    Thank you!

Hello. I need help po. I applied for MSA CDR + RSEA last Aug. 12. I submitted all the necessary documents as fas as I know (SSS, ITR, payslips, COE with JD) and paid for the additional fee for RSEA. I am a Civil Engineer with 6.5 years of experience in Construction field here in the Philippines.

Then I received a positive outcome that my application was granted today, Aug. 22. However, upon checking, my Relevant Skilled Employment was not reflected on the mentioned letter. I checked my EA account and I verified that my application is "granted" and there is no other pending assessment application. Does it mean that my professional employment experience is not approved? What should I do?

    Help please. Nakaka-sad. :(

    Thank you.

    - don’t be sad muna, pinaka the best na mag email ka sa EA to verify. Show them your receipt na nag avail ka ng RSEA kasi if alam nila na nag avail ka ng RSEA, it will be reflected sa letter yung result, whether you can claim it or not.

wait din tayo na baka may similar situation dito ng kagaya sayo, para they can give feedback on how to move forward pero gaya nga ng sabi ko, your initial step is to email them to provide explanation. Goodluck.

Hello. I just received a positive outcome of my EA assessment today, problema lang po yung RSEA binawasan nila ng 2.5 years yung work exp. Di kase ako nakpagprovide SSS/Pagibig/Philhealth from 2013-2015 kase Job order ako sa Government but i add additional info naman na pag JO walang benefits that government employees enjoyed. Sadly 4years lang binigay ni EA.😭
Ang tanong ko po, pwede po ba ako maglodge ng EOI pero nakadeclare p din yung 6.5yrs of work exp? Salamat sa sasagot😬
