    Hi! I would like to submit an EOI as single, but in 12-months time, I will be getting married..will there be a change in the EOI-date of effect (i.e. Nov. 8, 2019) if I change my status as MARRIED (nxt yr) EVEN IF my total points would remain as it is? (Single= Spouse with Competent English+ Positive Skills Assessment) Many Thanks!

      Do you mean na by Nov 2020 you will be changing your status to married but at the same time, makaka claim ka agad ng partner points for spouse with competent english and positive skills assessment?
      I think the DOE will change kasi as you change your status from single to married, magdedecrease ang points mo, and any updates made that affects the points - yung date of effect ay magchange din.
      Ilang points ang sayo? Kasi if you plan to include din yung spouse mo e mas ok na na makareceive ka ng ITA na kasama na sya sa application. Dika ba nag defacto?

    1. Yes Po, by november 2020 i will have to change my status, but prior to that we will ensure competent english and may positive skills assessment na si spouse.
    2. I do not think there will be a decrease in points po kasi as SINGLE wd DOE of November 2019, automatic 10 pts agad with the new pts system. Samantala, I will receive the same 10 pts if by November 2020 I will be married with a spouse na may competent english and skills assessment na.hehe

    Hinahabol ko lng po talaga yung DOE kasi it would take time pa na if mag submit ako ng EOI kapag married na po.hehe Thanks po sa insightss

    By now, I have 80 pts under subclass 189. Looking forward to gaining 90pts with the new points system this November.

    221214 Internal Auditor... Per ISCAH predictions, if I would submit my EOI today, I will probably get an invitation before November 2020. However, if my DOE will change by reason of marriage, it will take another year or perhaps 2022 for me to be invited. Hoping to be clarified if indeed DOE will be affected by reason of marriage eventhough the total points earned would be the same. It is time that we are wary about. Thanks

    • better research further for DOE guidelines - baka maari ka din mag email sa kanila to confirm. ang naiisip ko lang kasi 90 points ka from 11/2019 dahil single ikaw, and by 2020, married ka and will remain 90 points because
      of the partner points. Baka kasi DOE does not only change due to the change in points, baka kinoconsider din nito yung source of points mo if nag change overtime.
      Since mataas ang points mo, e maiinvite ka as single before 11/2020. Ang sunod mong ichecheck is pano iapply ng partner visa ang husband mo.

    @sethcabrera786 yes magbabago ang EOI date of effect mo eventhough same 10 points ka from single to married. Kasi icclaim mo ang partner points mo with a proof of language and positive skills assessment.
