Hi, nag apply po ako ngayon student visa. Worried po ako sa age ko 44years old po. Tanong ko lang po kung may chance po ba na maapprove ang application ko?

@don75cua I guess theres no age limitation when applying for a student visa. If this is your pathway to apply for skilled migrant visa later, the current age limit is 45, so medyo alanganin na. You can apply for work visa at may chance pa din to apply PR visa later provided you meet the min salary req ( $100,000+++ pa for x years).

Malapit ka na kasi sa age limit for skilled migrant visa at kung magstudent ka pa, wala din pupuntahan ang schooling mo dito kung balak mo maging PR migrant visa pathway unless talagang gusto mo talaga mag aral. Those coming here on work visa or kung nakahanap ka later ng employer na gustong magsponsor sayo ng working visa, pwede ka pa din sponsoran ng employer mo to get PR visa pero since more than 45 years old ka na by that time, pupwede ka lang magapply ng PR kung mameet mo yong min salary requirements na more than $100k pa....ibig sabihin nito, yong mga may skills na earning that amount, gustong iretain ng australia kasi with that salary, medyo sought after na skill mo.

@fgs ano pong visa subclass itong may salary requirement? may friend kasi kami na may agent, under 457 visa siya approved after March 2018, 46 yrs old, sinabihan kasi siya na wala na way for him to get PR. and they are going home na this month. baka kasi pwede nila iexplore itong pathway na ito dahil mukhang pasok siya sa salary requirement.

457 or the new 482 visa pasok dito

I think may provision don sa mga 457 holders before 18 APR 2017 na pwede pa apply PR basta below 50 years old

@fgs after na po siya niyan naapprove kaya hindi na ata applicable iyong grandfathering provision sa kanya. may kilala ba kayong agent na nagprocess ng PR visa ng more than 45 years old at currently 457 visa?

Need pa din nya yong employer nya to sponsor him for 186 or 187 visa

ENS 186 and 187

There are only a few allowed exceptions to this requirement for those applicants that are 45 years of age or over at the time that you lodge your visa application, which are outlined below:

You are nominated under the Temporary Residence Transition stream, and you have worked for your nominating employer for the last 3 years and your earnings were at least equivalent to the Fair Work High Income Threshold for each year over that three year period

The current High Income Threshold is $148,500
