@cutiepie25 hindi ka ba qualified sa state sponsorships? Di nako familiar sa new visa system. Yung sister ko kasi na invite sya with 65 points lang as nurse sa Victoria, nainvite sya June then after 5 months na grant na sya ng PR.

95 points! ang taas na nun, so does it mean ang naiinvite 100ish? Anyways, naiintindihan ko where you're coming from, mga 3 months ata ako nag abang for my invite. Try mo muna to wait for couple of months... baka mainvite na ang 90 pointers.

Devs to web devs.

Also @frisch24 maybe you can give advise?

Ang sabi po ng agent ko, magnenegative results daw po ako since naassess na ako as developer programmer. Ask ko lang po, pwede ko bang hindi sundin yung agent ko at magDIY for this reassessment?

@cutiepie25 may web development related work ka ba before? and web developers kasi pang 190 lang... hindi po cya pang 189. And hindi rin lahat nag state, like Victoria, nagsosponsor ng Web Developers kaya onti lang nakakaalam kung may available sa role na yun per state. worth a shot kung may experience ka rin sa web development.

    as i have said previously:
**okies lang multiple assessments sa ACS. Assessment for Developer Programmer will not cancel out kung magpa reassess ka for Web Developer. kasi ganito yung case ko, i have 2 assessments in ACS, one for Analyst Programmer and another for Web Developer.

@cutiepie25 if you created your own ACS account, then you can do it on your own. may friend kasi ako na yung agent gumawa nung ACS account nya kaya hnd cya makapagpareassess ng ibang field. For this case, you have to email ACS na alisin yung rights ng agent sa account mo at ibigay yung account mismo sayo. You can't create another account under the same Passport number.

sorry, nakita ko na yung lodge date mo sa isang comment mo..xP hehe.. anyways, Feb 2020 yung estimate ni Iscah if ever so I guess better to wait for it na lang kung ayaw mong mahassle sa reassessment sa ACS. besides, mahirap kasi makita kung naghahanap pa yung NSW ng web developers. bka mainvite ka na rin for 189 even before mo pa matapos yung reassessment mo for web developer kaya better wait na lang.

@cutiepie25 bakit ka nawawalan ng pag-asa. Mataas na ang 90 points so I guess ang pinaka optimal solution ay to wait. Yung other options mo kasi ay regional study, more work experience, consider other visa options like employer or regional sponsored visas para makaapak ka na dito sa Australia.

Kung student naman, you have to shell out money at hindi mura mag aral dito + cost of living ay more expensive sa Pinas.

Nakakadown lang po talaga kasi 95 and above lang ang ininvite nila this round :( baka lumala sya pataas na ng pataas :(

    @RheaMARN1171933 any advise din

Given no info about your background, all I could say is don’t be fixated with 189. Surely you have such high points it could be a long wait to get an invite but surely once they’ve finished allocating invites for 95 and above, you’re points will be next in line. At the same time, consider other visa subclasses too. Good luck

I've received the COE from school na and next is for Visa lodging na din. I'm an IT graduate dito sa Pinas. Yong experience ko is mostly BPO ibat-ibang scope of work pero yong recent ko is more on Data Analytics. I'm taking Diploma and Advanced Diploma sa isang college. Meron naman colleges that offer elective courses (like, Web Dev, Software programming), yong school ko is focus on Network Engineering which yan din yong gusto kong itake na path.

Ano pong agency mo at school?

@hikari yes, mas mura nga yung diploma or certificate pero lam ko naghigpit na sila ngayon. marami ng rejected SVs kasi nga hindi na legitimate yung intention na mag-aral. anyways, another downside ng diploma or certificate maliban sa hindi ka pede kumuha ng post study visa is that kung may dependent ka, asawa or de facto, hindi cla pde magfull time job. would not matter though kung mag-isa lng pupunta si @cutiepie25 dito.

    hi Frisch,

Interested ako magtake ng NAATI. Any tip, how did you take yours or what are the steps needed? Medyo confusing yung nasa website.

Gusto ko po kasi itry yung network or cyber security diploma

@cutiepie25, di po ako sure jan.. research more about Visa 189 po. If you wanted to get the Visa 189, then make sure na qualified ka for Visa 189. Sayang naman kase if yong experience mo is pwedi na sa Visa 189, of course money din isa sa big factor. Daming factors to consider kase sa Visa 189. Yong SV is not a guaranteed way for PR Pathway naman per nabasa ko sa mga forums but if andon kana you can plan na if anong next mo na gagawin.

@cutiepie25 and @lunarcat there are states that gives State Sponsorship for their international graduates like South Australia.;) but going to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as a student would be a risk kasi hnd sila nagsosponsor, pero mas maraming work sa tatlong cities an yun if ever, i mean compared to other places, especially for IT.

@cutiepie25 sir po ako.xP hehe. uhm... about money, it depends on which state you would be in and how much you would need to pay for tuition fee per semester. To give you an overview:
1.) tuition would be around $15k to $20k per semester. Masters has 4 sems while bachelors as 6 sems.
2.) In Adelaide and Melbourne, monthly rent is around $500 if you are living alone in a room but in a shared house.
3.) Add in $100 monthly for electricity, gas, internet and water.
4.) Mobile phone is $45 per month if you take a post paid, additional $50 if you get it with a phone.
5.) Transportation in Adelaide is like $50 per month if you get a concession discount because you are a student, but in Melbourne it is around $150 as the discount depends on the Uni, I think, or maybe if you are already bachelors or masters then you won't get the discount anymore.
6.) Then probably allow $500 for your food and miscellaneous stuff.

As for the work, you are only legally allowed to work 20 hours per week or 40 hours per fortnight (every 2 weeks). Minimum rate legally is $20. So technically, if these are strictly followed, you would have $1600 per month.

    For the $1600 earned every month, minus numbers 2 to 6 above ($500 - $100 - $45 - $150 - $500), you're only left with $300 saving for the tuition fee pay.

Honest advise? Make sure you have saved enough money to pay at least for 2 sems before you go here in Australia. Then at least you won't be stressed out on saving enough money when you are here. You can work the normal 40 hours per week if you are on sem break, in between sems, and even during summer break so you can save more during those times.

Salamat po sir sa napakagandang in-depth explanation. Mukang hindi nga kakayanin. So dapat yung 1 year palang tuition meron na ko. Hayz.
