yup, sql and java gamit namin. i think it's more with the professors din na nagtuturo. kung gusto mo ng latest new programming language na ituro sa students mo, dapat may professor ka na bihasa na dun sa language na yun, which is quite hard to do kasi onti pa lang yung expert, and yung expert mismo would already be working in big companies, no time to teach anymore.

Masters po. Sa Griffith. Meron po kasi silang tinatawag na Masters Qualifying Program, eto po muna itatake ko for 1st sem bago ako mag start ng Master in IT.

Sir question lang. I was planning to enrolled in UC sa course na masters of information technology and system. Pero accredited siya ni ACS. Irerequire parin ba ko ni ACS na 5-6 uears experience even though professional level naman category once i graduated the program. Secondly, wala ko background sa IT. Kasi yung course ko is for non-IT practitioner na gusto mag IT. Di ba ko mahihirapan mag hanap ng work?

pagkagraduate nyo po, para magka positive assessment kayo required at least 2 yrs work xp or 1yr AU work xp + PY. yung work experience po is dapat closely related to your nominated occupation. Nasa guidelines po yun ng ACS

for job hunting dito, di ko po alam sa mga newly grad without work experience. Sa akin po since may work experience ako sa pilipinas related to my field, marami naman po ako narereceive na phone call sa mga inapply-an ko. Yun nga lang po di na nila tinutuloy yung application ko kapag nalaman nila na naka SV ako since they are looking for someone that can work fulltime.

@Gino, assessing body ang ACS. Hindi lang school ang tinitignan nila but pati kung na-meet mo ang requirements or standards to be given a positive skill assessment for computing/ICT

@hikari pra makapagpaassess sa ACS, either may work experience ka, local or abroad or nag PY ka. Pag yung sa PY option, hindi na po need ng work experience.

On my own understanding, kapag accredited ACS yung uni mo, automatically assessed as ICT Major otherwise, chcheck pa nila ng mabuti yung mga units na tinake mo bago nila maassess kung ICT Major sya or not.

Australian qualifications that have been accredited by the ACS will generally meet the ICT Major Criteria.
Please note however that this does not guarantee that the qualification will be assessed as being closely
related to the nominated ANZSCO occupation."

sa mga non AU grad, chinecheck nila sa CEP for AQF fwk comparison.

@billielee you have a point and i honestly don't know why. but what i can think of is that ACS can negatively assess you if your uni or school is not ACS accredited. This usually happens to schools and unis outside Australia right? So, would you rather risk loose the next few years of work experience after school or uni even if you have already studied in Australia?

For bachelors degree in IT like yours, magkano on average ang costs per year sa uni costs (assuming full academic load)? Hows the difficulty naman for bachelors studies in Western Syd U?

Hi po, I lodged a 189 Visa for developer programmer noong 11/10/2019 dd/mm/yyyy with 90 pts.

Medyo nawawalan po ako ng pag-asa about it. Ask ko lang po if sulit pa ba na magmasters ako ng IT? I’m from DLSU-Manila and masters lang ang gusto ng agency na kunin ko. Worth it pa kaya? Given na madalas magchange ang rules baka mamaya by the time na matapos ko yung course, 120pts na. Worried lang ako talaga.

What can you advise po? Worth it pa ba na magmasters ako or antayin ko nalang na mainvite?

Can you tell us the breakdown of 90 points. Mataas na ito, pero kung may way pa to add points (i-last resort mo na ang student visa kasi magastos ang pathway na ito at it'll takes 2 years para maka claim ka ng additional 5 points)

I advise you to take NAATI CCL.

@superluckyclover and @cutiepie25 take note lang na dito lang sa Aus ang test centers ng NAATI. Kung ala ka pa dito sa Aus Cutiepie 25, consider the price of flying in and out and the accommodation you would need para lang kumuha ng exam. Exam itself already costs $810.

Kung student naman, you have to shell out money at hindi mura mag aral dito + cost of living ay more expensive sa Pinas.

June 2018 ako naglodge dati ng analyst programmer pero hangang ngayon hindi pa rin invited, 85 pts to be specific. Nagtry ako mag web developer na state sponsored sa NSW and nainvite ako within 2 weeks. Need mo nga lang ulit magpareassess sa ACS for another IT field.

**okies lang multiple assessments sa ACS. Assessment for Developer Programmer will not cancel out kung magpa reassess ka for Web Developer.

Nagpass po ako ng 190VIC but hindi po swinerte sa preinvite 95 pts po ako.
