@aa777 there are a lot of options but really depends on what you have currently. you can opt to study again, find a work sponsor, be sponsored by your family or apply directly as a Permanent Resident. Although, the last option would require a lot of stuff to consider like age, your English proficiency, educational background, work experience, etc. you would need further research on which one you are considering then focus on the visa requirements needed for it.

@jaznimbo 65 is the minimum para makapaglodge ng EOI. pero to get an invitation, unfortunately, dapat 90 and above.

Thanks for the info. Base on the trend, it seems like it. Doesn't make sense to have a 65 minimum if the one's who'll get an invite are those with 90+. And if it depends on the anzsco code, then it would be best to have each code a required minimum rather than having it for all. Just my 2 cents.

It would be a pity for those who have less than 90 points since they have no chance of getting an invite. Just a waste of money if that's the case.

Would love to hear the thoughts of the others.

Hi everyone I am planning to take Nursing Conversion Course. I am a nursing graduate sa Pinas but I am not registered and I don't have any experience sa hospital setting. Ask ko lang, what are the requirements for Nursing Conversion Course? I've been looking for answers for the past few days pero wala ako mahanap. So hindi ko alam pano ako magsisimula.

65 is just the minimum points to be able to lodge EOI. So the statement 85+ is the new 65 is just misleading in so many levels.

The entire logic of the invites is simply: the higher the points, the higher chances of invitation.

That only applies for 189 visa subclass so don’t get fixated on this.

45 is age limit. But its just 1 factor... Have to consider other factors. I got invited at age 33.

Baka meron po dyan nag wo work sa bank. Ano po ang skills na pwede ipa assess. Nagpa assess po kase ko as Corp Servc Mgr pero negative outcome kase daw po ang Job ko deals with day to day branch activities. While ang Corp Svc Mgr deals with CEO, giving him advise etc..

Please help.

Hello, yes May chance po. Bilisan nyo nalang Sir mag process like start gathering docs, EA assessment, PTE English exam. Kasi ung points for age depende sa age range. 33-39= 25pts, 40-44=15pts. Malaki po points difference. Sayang din kasi sir kung max points ka na sa ibang category like work experience, English proficiency etc Tapos mahatak ka pababa dahil sa age. The higher the points the better. All the best po!

After two years of hesitating, I am finally planning to apply for the 190 or 189 visa since 30 na rin ako at sayang ang age. Umpisahan ko sa pagtake ng IELTS sa May tapos Skills Assesment. Mga kaya ko pa gastusan, tsaka ko na problemahin yung visa fee kung sakaling maapprove na hehe.

Graduate ako ng interior design pero hindi pa licensed, working here in the Philippines for 8 going on 9 years na. Meron ba mga designers dito na succesful na sa pagapply ng visa? Dami ko nakikita archi or draftsman pero wala pako nabasa na ID

Also, may points ba for tenure at work? Iba iba kasi nakikita ko na points calculator.

Any other advise para sa akin na maguumpisa pa lang? Todo backread din ako everyday pero naooverwhelm ako sa dami ng info Sana this year maachieve ko lahat but setting realistic goals lang din. Good luck sa atin lahat na nagaapply 😊

37 ako nung nag apply ako. naka lusot naman. tama, 33 to 39, same lang points. isang factor lang ang age. pero highly suggested na you do it before 40

@iris58 would be even better if you can get invited before you turn 33 as that is the maximum points, 30 pts, you can get with Age. 33-39 age range only has 25 pts.;)

FYI. there is a change on how the work experience is being counted on the EOI. I personally think it is good for most.;)

Why start in May pa? Prioritise skills assessment as that’s more time consuming. If I were you do something now as laws and processes change so quickly.

Hi. We are preparing my NSW application form for 491 and I am confused if ano difference ng skills assessment from assessing authority (under skilled employment) vs. valid skills assessment (under DHA points test)? Or it's the same na (in my case VETASSESS results)? Thanks!
