any idea po o info bk my friends po kyo n my nakaexperience dn.

    thanks po in advance

Nung nag initial entry kami nung 2018 hindi pa kami nag apply for Centrelink, TFN etc. Then umuwi ng pinas at nag work pa for almost a year bago nag BM ng January 2019.

Tingin ko, if may TFN ka na or yung asawa mo then need na mag file ng tax eh idedeclare mo/niyo yung income niyo abroad at matataxan yun. Combination of income abroad at dito ang ififile niyo if ever.

Tska tama si superluckyclover, mukang hindi na kayo eligible sa FTB need niyo ata mag stay muna ng 2 years bago maka claim and may minimum salary lang ata din pde makapag claim un. Not sure ah. kasi kami nung last year may na claim pa since yung salary for the whole financial year ko eh maliit lang kasi ilang months nalang yun. Then for the whole financial year ngaun since buong taon na, eh hindi na kami eligible

Guys help.

Thanks all!

Got our grant last Feb 13 .... hindi pa rin nagsisink in until now sa akin :)
Anyways, we plan our big move in Adelaide earliest would be June or July. We have until Feb 2021 pa naman to make the initial entry.

Meron bang makapagprovide ng checklist ng mga things to do/bring/etc.

    Thanks in advance!

    Things to bring:

    • Pulvoron
    • Peach mango pie
    • Tabo hirap mag hugas pwet walang bidet. hahahaha

if visa grant letter lang, good!

Hello, we are on the same boat. Sana may nakakaalam kung may need gawin. Salamat sa inyo. Congrats pala!

just saw this. might worth reading... https://expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/369585-wife-pregnant-after-google-page-ranking-grant.html

congrats to you too @tesu ... yeah, I came across a similar discussion and spoke with a few PR friends who are already in Australia and gave birth there. Most of them are saying the following things:

    1. If Born there, then the baby will acquire citizenship at birth.
    2. Hospitable bills will be covered by the government/medicare or in other words giving birth is for free as long as it is in the a public system. (Not sure about this yet and hopefully someone can confirm.)
    3. fly to australia as soon as possible as it's not safe and healthy for the baby. they say 4 to 5 months is allowed to fly.

May friend kami ma both PR dyan nanganak so automatic citizen yung baby nila, parking fee lang binayaran.

Another friend's partner (both PR) inoperahan and same, parking fee lang binayaran.

Kung gusto daw nila, yung hospital bill ng parent nya is bayaran in installment. Maayos experiences nila with regards to medical care sa Australia.

Hello.. I gave birth in Canberra. Flew there when I was 35 to 36 weeks pregnant. Gave birth at a public hospital, Cs. We paid nothing. All covered by medicare. All my pre natal check ups are free. My son is citizen na.

hi guys, may naka-experience na ba magpa-dentista sa Au, like cleaning and filling? tsaka free din ba sya sa medicare?

Child Dental lang ang alam ko covered. Most of the time Private Health Insurance gamit namin sa mga dental.

Hello Guys! My wife is 6 weeks pregnant and wala pa kami sa OZ. okay lang naman noh?
no need for any documents. Totoo ba na maging citizen yung baby kapag doon ipanganak?

Hello.. I gave birth in Canberra. Flew there when I was 35 to 36 weeks pregnant. Gave birth at a public hospital, Cs. We paid nothing. All covered by medicare. All my pre natal check ups are free. My son is citizen na.

wow! this is good news. I'm a bit worried talaga sa bills. all though may insurance naman asawa ko dito sa uae , but i don't know if it will be enough.

by the way, wala pa kaming work dalawa. libre pa din ba?

hindi po. just read about it yesterday.

    Medicare doesnโ€™t cover
We donโ€™t pay for things like:

    ambulance services
    most dental services
glasses, contact lenses and hearing aids
    cosmetic surgery.
