Thanks a lot @Admin. haha, worried ko yung RWFIB at RFIB bka sobrang hirap tulad ng sa mock test.
yung SWT naman, gamit ko yung kay sir @Supersaiyan ewan ko lang kung nag work sakin un. medyo nag add lang ako ng and/however/so haha.

Hindi ako aware dito. HAHAHA Pero it explains why I got high in reading kahit I missed an item or two sa multiple choice (single answer) - maliit lang pala ang score component.

Hindi ako expert dito, pero I suggest @silverbullet focus nga on the high-point categories. Like RA, SWT, and RWFIB gaya ng advise ni @Admin . Since okay naman yung grammar and oral fluency mo (unlike me), I think yung iaaddress mo yung RA para mahila niya pronunciation mo (hitting reading & speaking).

Pero wag ka na kabahan masyado. My mock exams were low, as in low, pero first take ko was high enough. What I'm saying is, some items lumabas rin sa practice test and mock exams, and I guess the actual exam was easier than what I expected it to be.

sa RW FIB sinusubok ko basahin ingeneral context ung buong sentence para malaman ko idea. pero pahapyaw muna ko ng mabilis na basa ng buo para sa main topic. pag d ko na gets collocation and elimination technique ginagamit ko

Basta practice lang ng practice. And sa actual day of exam, don't be nervous. Be confident lang.

So ayun, 2nd take ako. I didn't take any reviews or classes dahil super busy. Laking tulong sakin yung tips dito sa forum, especially yung templates ng speaking and writing (hello sa mga gurus dito!). Kung first time taker ka, I would recommend taking the mock exams online to get the feel of the exam. But to share few tips:

Bring only what's necessary (i.e. passport). Madaming checks sa area before you start the exam, I suggest wag na magsuot ng watch, earrings, or any accessories para hindi hassle for you at mapanatag isip mo for the exam. Some were asked to remove their jackets rin.

Be early sa exam para kasama ka sa first batch na papasok and mauuna magstart. Yung experience ko kase 2nd-3rd batch ako na nakapasok at nagstart na yung earlier batch sa speaking. Medyo nagpanic ako, although hindi naman competition yun. Nakakastress lang. hahaha Halatang kabado ako.

Read instructions aloud. Eto yung warm up ko for Speaking part. Pati yung self introduction, take advantage of it.

Speaking. Please read mga tips ng gurus! Astig. Sa part ko, gumawa ako ng sariling end statement na comfortable akong sabihin, like "I think the graph/diagram/picture/video/lecture provides interesting points for reference in future studies." Nabubulol kase ako pag-memorized yung line. Ginamit ko rin to sa Writing part.

Sa describing image, say title of the study and year, low point, high point, 1 more point to highlight, then your end statement.

Writing. Suggested essay format dito were helpful. Yung 1 sentence summary, copy paste lang ginawa ko but I made sure coherent yung idea and hindi sabog at halatang copy paste. FANBOY was useful.

Listening. Focus lang. Guilty ako slight dito kase distracted talaga ako.

Reading. Naubusan ako ng time dito and missed 1 or 2 items.

San ako nahirapan? Repeat sentence sa speaking. Nakakapanic. Medyo matagal ako sa Reading dahil iniisip ko baka may tricky questions or trap, pero wag mong pangunahan sarili mo! HAHAHA Relax lang.

San ako nadalian? Highlight the incorrect word (listening).

Ayun lang po. Most of the helpful tips are were previously shared. 2 nights akong nagback read ng tips dito kaya medyo confident ako kahit walang practice. (Wag akong gayahin please) HAHAHA Good luck sa lahat!

Kaya yan @chemron9400 kaya yan go go go lang. huwag ma dismaya. balikan mo lang kung san ka sa tingin mo hindi nag perform ng maayos then dun ka mag focus , pansin mo score ko sa last test bumaba ng husto and listening and writing. dahil sa WRITE FROM DICTION ubos na ko. Nag focus ako ng matindi sa reading RW & R FIB and RO. nag paulit ulit ako at hindi ko inalisan till sure ko na swak mga words.

Hi @ebeb_87 , kumusta po yung PTE exam nyo po? natuloy po ba kayo or na-cancelled ni test center? I have also scheduled exam on March 30, but in doubt pa ako if itutuloy since nasa period pa ng lockdown

i think po dahil sa head set nyo yan. kasi mababa oral fluency at pronunciation.

merong prompt, no need to worry kasi di naman to graded, just talk about yourself and the reason why you want to take the PTE exam, you can try practicing in front of a mirror then just time yourself for it.

hindi sya graded kaya kahit ano lang sabihin mo. Ang ginawa ko nun sinasabi ko lang name ko tapos sulat nko sa pad ng template ko sa retell lecture. All the best sa exam!

Nakalodge na po ako ng EOI, and baka di na mag take ng exam kaya binebenta. wala naman pong information sa lockdown and yes eto yung ibabayad mo for the exam instead of paying USD 205 or PHP 10,200. Mismo sa PTEA pearson website select ph area, sa Makati ang area Trident tower.

agree!!! ngyari sakin sa retell to. nag adlib ako ng barok english na impromptu kasi d nakatulog maayos. as in blank. make sure rin enough 8 to 9hrs sleep before exam kinabukasan para fresh mind.
