Looking for an unbiased opinion, in Australia which city would be the best to live- Canberra or Melbourne? I have found some information on web that says Melbourne should be the best choice. What you say?

never been outside Victoria. Been in Melbourne for 3 years now.
i can only speak for Melbourne and my experience.
Marami factors to consider to consider as "best to live" and its relative sa bawat tao.
So far, its been a nice place to for our family.
Work opportunities is OK.
Peace & order, yes ok din
traffic OK din, unless rush hour
living cost parang mejo mahal dito
discrimination, hindi ko masyado ramdam n meron
housing, 2nd most expensive ata after sydney

@rkraazbd This might not be the answer your looking for but for me, If you can find professional work for you and your partner which is related to your fields in a regional city which is about 2-3 hrs drive from a major one then that would be ideal. You can save faster and start building your home plus there are some grants if your building a home on a regional area (there's a grant now for 45k if citizen or 25k if PRs for 1st home owners in QLD for example). I'm based in QLD but about 3 hrs by drive from Brisbane.
