Tama sila. It depends sa goals mo. I was an OFW too but now in Pinas. Still earning 6digits and comfortable pa naman so far kami ng anak ko. I had the same question in my mind pero what made me think to pursue the AU dream is this pandemic. Ang laki ng difference ng response ng AU sa Pinas when it comes to the crisis... I know if matuloy kami sa AU, malaki ang chance na back to start yung career ko. But it's something I could take (plus diskarte na rin yan siguro) for my daughter's welfare. I believe it's a better place for the mother-daughter duo and start building her future. :)

Hindi ko pa masabi kung worth it dahil nasa pinas pa ako 😅 pero napaisip kaming mag migrate dahil sa mga benefits, not just for us but for our future children. Healthcare, education, etc.

But it seems that our future is brighter if we go and move to Oz.

Hi. Pero sumugal kami, left our very stable jobs in Qatar at sobrang kasundong mga arabo sa work. Pinas will always be our home, kaya lang Pinas cannot give as to what Australia can offer. Weigh your priorities. At siyempre dun tayo sa pang long term. 😊 though the journey was long and difficult, worth it ang Australia.

Hmm it depends. Ofw din kami, and sumasahod kami ng asawa ko both in 6 digits. But its not about the money, its not even for both of us. Para po ito sa anak namin. Better future and opportunities pag laki niya.

Hi guys. Pasensya na if its too much to ask. Magkano ang binaon niyo na pocket money for a start kapag magbig move?

siguro good to say atleast minimum 4k aud but depends parin how big is your family na pupunta. and not incuded jan yung ibabayad mo sa quarantine. its good for sometime na din pero atleast di ka mangangamba na wala ka madudukot lalo sa oras ng pangangailangan. if may relatives here mas ok may kukupkop sau if wala mas mahirap diba kung san ka kukuha. and besides may mga makukuha ka naman "ayuda" for the meantime when you arrive. pero it depends sa ayuda kung meron pa or available pa the time you arrive here.

Hello Po. Salamat po sa information na ito.
Same amount po ang na-Save ko 4K AUD. Nakita ko kasi sa website ng University of Canberra yung estimated 4K AUD daw (minimum) to pay for first few bonds at bills.
Yung 3K AUD sa quarantine fee. Kung family 5K pa. Therefore, around 7K AUD talaga ang need kung papasok sa Australia during this pandemic time. Salamat ulit sa information. Malaking tulong po. :) o:) <3

Para sa immigrant visa and work visa pwede mo silang isama as dependents sa visa application mo.

Yes wala na sa SQ for Oct and Nov. Ang next is Dec 6, 11,13, 18,20,21,25-31 at 1,236 po yan. All the best po.

Actually ok nman, living the dream of brilliant life balance kaso upset lang ako kasi mas mahalaga pa ung rights at needs ng mga beneficiaries at natives compare sa mga hard workers like me and my wife.

My wife is a hospital nurse while I'm a civil servant in a national gov't office, our work is awesome ung tipo hangang retirement na. Quite sad we are penalized for working extra hard with 30% tax above 40hrs in a week trying to organize a deposit for a subpar and hyper inflated house.

All the best po

@divhon it's the same scenario here in AU and mas mataas pa yata tax brackets here compare to NZ.

For me, okay lang ang 30% tax kasi nakikita ko where the tax money go. In times of need, alam ko may maasahan ako from goverment.
BTW, there will be an announcement for early implementation of tax cuts from Josh Frydenberg, tonight yata if I am right. Abangan natin!

Pano po pag lampas na IED? Nagemail na ako before na baka di kami makapasok before IED tapos ung generic reply lang ng DHA. Meron na po ba dito ung nakapasok talaga after IED at kung meron pa ba special process?

I agree it's about the same tax wise as I have few Aussie co-workers din nman. However you got better economy of scale, bigger industries hence can pay and give benefits more. Your politicians has more political will, dito the gov't is very conscious sa kind image nila. My observation is people want progress pero not in any of their backyard. They want bigger salary, better and more of this and that but they don't want to give solution or at least agree to presented solution. So that is just plain whining. The fastest and most cost effective way to build or rebuild a nation is migration. Educated, skilled, healthy individuals tulad ng mga pinoy who will bring production, progress and innovation.

Hi @Rammelpj ! Madaling sagutin pero medyo mahirap maintindihan ng iba kase to each their own 'ika nga. Six-digit gross income each namin ni Mrs. sa Pilipinas. High-potential talents kami in respective company. I was even contacted by a headhunting agent for an AVP position sa profession ko days before we moved here.

Quality of life for the family - that is always my answer why worth it :)

We just turned 40. Age changes your perspective about family, life, work, etc. <3
