Hello! I am new member of this site. I am currently in the process of completing my application papers to AU. Pharmacists are already out of the SOL but fortunately still at CSOL and South Australia is the state that accepts them. Meron po ba dyan mga fellow pharmacists who have applied and are given visa approval for Visa 190? I have been browsing the nominated occupation lists of SA and retail and hospital pharmacist have been put to "medium availability" from "high availability". Baka po may mga approved na dyan na pharmacists, please share your stories. Thank you!

Hi, I am also a pharmacist, glad that there's another pharmacist in this forum. I am done with my initial assessment under APC and will be sitting for my 3rd IELTS test this coming July. I failed to get the7.5 OBS that is required for the KAPS exam application, sorry to say I'm only short of just 0.5 from any of the sub-tests just to get the 7.5 OBS, but I didn't apply for a remark coz I'm not confident if my scores will change. I tried to apply for SS under SA just to try what will be their response, my application was refused. I've learned that we really need to pass the KAPS exam first, because APC will issue a certificate of full skills assessment after the KAPS exam was cleared, which SA and DIPB will consider as a proof of a full skills assessment.

How about you how's your application right now? Have you finished your initial assessment under APC?

Nov. 8, 2013 -IELTS Results L,R,W,S- 7.0 OBS-7.0 ( need to retake, I need to get 7.5 OBS with no lower than band 7 in any
    sub-tests.)

@f_gonzalez0930 firstly, you need to pass your documents for eligibility assessment to APC.kung qualified ka kelangan magbayad ka sa knila ng exam fee which is like 57k ata sa peso..paper 1 and paper 2 yun..if you pass then you can take your ielts exam kung sobra namn ung points mo sa pointssystem ng australia then hindi mo kelangan magkaruon ng mataas na bandscore

    Then lodge your application.

You can only apply as intern pagka nasa australia ka,after a supervised internship(may sahod po eto) then you can apply for stage 2 exam. May written at oral un

Anyone applying for a Skilled Visa 190 as Pharmacy Technician? And if nakapag assess na sa VETASSESS?

I was just wondering for your insight kasi po I have a 2 years experience in Community pharmacy as a Pharmacist. Will this be considered for this visa? Since yung license as Pharma sa Philippines is not valid there. Macredit po kaya siya as a Pharmacy tech experience nun?

@aicieee tapos na ako sa Vetasses, positive yung result. Nagbabawas sila ng 1 yr sa experience kasi considered lang training yung first year.

@aicieee It might be as long as you tailor fit your job description to that of a Phar Tech.

Hi Can I ask how did you obtain a positive result sa VETASSESS? Will they accept experience as a pharmacist here in the Philippines?
