Hi, I Just want to share flight timeline, Cathay rebooking dates nalibot ko na ang australia bwahaha...

    Feb28,2020 granted visa
    July 4 book a flight;
    July 26 MNL-HK-MEL : canceled
    Aug 1 MNL-HK-SYD : canceled
    Aug 11 MNL-HK-SYD : canceled
    Aug 31 MNL-HK-SYD : canceled
    Sep 3 MNL-HK-SYD : canceled
    Oct 31MNL-HK-ADL; canceled

IED ko is Aug 11 lagpas na.
Visa validity is Feb2025 pa naman,
kaso habang naghahantay walang cashflow since walang work puro expenses

    option January 2 MNL-HK-ADL
(need to rebook/refund on or before Oct 31st sabi ng Cathay)
if refund 10 to 12 weeks daw..
pasko and new year sa pinas then BM 2021 na.

I am checking skyscanner, if you book here how sure na makaka pasok ka sa cap?

All good things takes time...abangers lang hehehe

Hi! Hindi ako BM like you guys but I recently arrived here in Aus last Oct 9 (I'm on BVB), you can check Cathay Pacific again cause they're opening slots for their upcoming flights. I suggest do the MNL-HKG-SYD na flight cause they are flying 3x weekly here at Sydney. Recently, may mga nakabook ng economy na natuloy. I opted to upgrade in business class to secure my seat cause I need to get back to work asap.
But if you have extra money & need na magmove, email mo lang young Manila Cathay Pacific Sales Rep. I noticed that they cancel those ppl who booked online. Those who booked via phone/email get their seats secured. I got mine cancelled twice kasi on economy with Cathay Pacific. :) I hope all goes well with your BM!

Talaga? I will check this. Our flight is January pa pero feeling ko may chance pa rin macancel.. i booked thru their website then rebooked thru their agent online lang nung nacancel the first time.

yup, super volatile lang ngayon. But hopefully, Aussie politicians will swing the other way around & will let more people in...arrival cap review again on the 24th. :)

    All the best @bluebubble!

Guys, pwede ba mawaive ang quarantine fee if unemployed ka? does it apply to the new migrants? I came across this document from South Australia, so hndi ko lng sure if it really applies.

    "Financial hardship
You may be eligible for a fee waiver under the grounds of financial hardship. You must be an Australian
citizen or a Permanent resident to apply for this waiver.

Eligibility is assessed against criteria including, but not exclusive to:

expenses), including due to the quarantine period itself

 Unemployment or on Jobkeeper/Jobseeker or another relevant Centrelink service or an
    Australian studying overseas

 Loss of a business entity, home or possessions due to COVID 19 or a natural disaster.

Pag immigrant po tapos ang flight is from Philippines, hinahanap ito ng immigration officer bago kayo makaalis ng pinas.

if you are also the primary applicant, need po nung OEC - Overseas Employment Certificate :) unless dependent po, then need documents to prove that you are a dependent of a primary applicant with valid work rights here in AU... cheers!

    all the best po!

Di ba need lang ng OEC for work visa? Not necessary for PR?

Hope this helps :)
