  guys pag COBOL ba ang experience, may chance ma assess na suitable ng ACS? tinitignan ko kasi yung mga criteria nila, parang wala yun sa mga examples. thanks

  Good Day sa ating lahat. .. May tanong sana ako regarding sa affidavit/Statutory Declaration. Yung company ko kasi dati sa Pinas eh nagclose. Yung dating manager ko eh nasa Singapore ngayun tapos andito ako ngayon sa Malaysia. Bale, format ng Pinas pa din ba susundin? Yung may nakalagay na "Republic of the Philippines"? Kasi plan ko sana eh ipapirma ko sa boss ko na nasa SG then dito ko sa Malaysia ipapanotaryo. Or dapat po ba eh sa SG ko ipanotaryo kasi andun siya? Kung sa SG ko ipapanotaryo, dapat po ba SG format din yung affidavit? Thanks in advance ..

  Ang alam ko hindi naman depende sa specific skill set ang pag-assess. Kasi kunyari Analyst Programmer ka, pwedeng COBOL, C#, VB, etc. ang hawak mo. Kaya depende yan kung ang job responsibilities mo eh similar sa job description ng occupation sa ACS.

  @yukie77 - meron ng balita sa assessment mo? Nag-browse ako sa expat forum, it seems matagal talaga magrelease ang ACS ng results sa mga nagpasa ng December and January. Yung iba nga as early as December 3 sila nagpasa, waiting pa din sa results.

  hello po. I badly needed your advice po regarding my situation. kakaiyak kasi. naitanong ko na ito sa previous post ko on whether to take RPL or just the Skills application. I am a B.S. ChE graduate but working as Software QA for 7yrs. Normally I should be taking the RPL route however, I have BCS ISEB/ISTQB certification that is comparable to an AQF diploma. Having that certification, I wrote to ACS to clarify my dilemma and they replied that I should take Skills application type.
  
  eto na ang sumasakit ulo ko, stage 4 na ako since Dec 7 but today I received an email telling me that I should be doing RPL and that my application is back to stage 3! it also mentioned in the email that I should pay additional 50AUD and I have 30days to submit project report form.
  
  ano po ba dapat ko gawin? careerin na lang si RPL within 30days(note: wala po ako idea pano gawin RPL kahit may CBOK pa about this) or mag-email and attaching the previous email from someone in ACS informing me that my ISEB certification is acceptable and comparable to AQF diploma? hay grabe di na nga ako nakapasa sa IELTS, pati ba naman sa ACS.

  @blackrose I suggest email mo muna sila tapos attach mo yung previous email nila sayo.
  Sabihin mo you don't mean to disrespect pero parang your expectations have been set already na you dont need to take RPL. Parang may inconsistency blah blah.. Atleast diba natanong mo, mabilis lang naman ang reply nyan. Kesa you'll proceed with the RPL and go crazy thinking kung what if miscommunication lang nila dun and you don't need naman tlaga an RPL..

  @blackrose I agree with @alexamae, email mo muna ang ACS and wait for their advise. Kung sinabi nilang mag-RPL ka pa din, then no choice kung hindi sumunod.

Ask ko lang po kung meron na nakapag pa assess sa inyo sa ACS na ang work experience ay sa Call Center specifically Technical Support Representative, Helpdesk Analyst pero ang qualification ko po ay Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Pumasa po kaya ako kung ang aapplyan ko ay Software Engineer,Analyst Programmer or Systems Administrator? Iniisip ko lang po kasi parang ang layo ng experience ko sa nominated occupation ko pero po kung dadaanin sa qualification pasok po me. Pahingi naman po ng advise. God Bless!

  No, kailangan ang job experience related sa nominated occupation. Meron pong description ang ACS ng mga job codes, check mo kung may occupation dun na pasok ang work experience mo. May iba nga na pumapasa sa assessment kahit hindi IT-related ang course pero similar sa nominated occupation yung job experience, RPL route nga lang yung sa kanila instead of general skills assessment.

  baka mas fit sa qualification and work experience nyo ang ANZSCO definition nyan....

  @lock_code2004 doon nga po sana me magpapa assess, kaso yung Tita ko nasa NSW, siya sana kasi tutulong sa min habang maghahanap me ng work, tapos di rin po open ang ICT Customer Support Officer sa state na yun, sa Canberra lang po sya open. Pero kung sa success rate po ay mas lamang sa TRA baka nga po dun na lang me. Medyo nalilito po kasi me. Sa inyo po sir, tingin nyo negative pag sa ACS?

Pero kung sa success rate po ay mas lamang sa TRA baka nga po dun na lang me. Medyo nalilito po kasi me. Sa inyo po sir, tingin nyo negative pag sa ACS?

  My opinion:
  1. Check your job description versus Anszco, kung kaya mo i-tweak ng konti and current job desc to match ung mga ACS IT occupation, then go.. wala namn problem kasi IT Bachelor degree ka naman..
  
  otherwise kung sinasabi mo na malayo talga ang work exp mo, then proceed with ICT CS Officer (TRA)
  
  2. Aanhin mo ang relative na tutulong syo sa NSW, kung hindi ka nmn papasa sa ACS assessment.. pag meron ka ng assessment>ielts>EOI>Visa... saka mo na problemahin ang trabaho..

  @blackrose Ganyan talaga pag marami na din napagdaanan para sa migration application na yan hahaha.. Many times ko na din naramdaman to give up. Pero you have to think positive talaga. Magpray ka lang, magbasa at magtanong dito, then you'll be good. Hahaha...

  Yung asawa ko po may call center experiences na narecognize ng ACS at nasali sa System Admin na experience nya haha.. Pero risk sya ha kasi mahal ang bayad tapos pano pag hindi pala ma recognize.. Kung gusto mo manigurado mag TRA ka pero if ililibre ka ng Tita mo ng pang assessment sa ACS eh di try mo nalang din

  @blackrose Ganyan talaga pag marami na din napagdaanan para sa migration application na yan hahaha.. Many times ko na din naramdaman to give up. Pero you have to think positive talaga. Magpray ka lang, magbasa at magtanong dito, then you'll be good. Hahaha...
  Paulit ulit na nga ako dito ehh and I am glad marami naman tayo friends dito na willing tumulong So don't worry be happy
  

  ^agree and I am thankful for this forum dahil malaking tulong talaga sya lalo na kung di naman nagseek ng help ng migration agent. puro basa-basa at tanong-tanong lang ako at wala rin ako kakilala sa australia. hehe
  
  btw, nagrespond na po saken ang ACS at eto ang sabi saken...

  @franz and @rguez06, hingi po sana ako sa inyo ng advice in the near future para sa RPL creation pero for now magbasa basa muna ako so that I could have a benchmark on how it's done. thanks in advance!

  Mam and Sirs,magtatnong lang. Kailangan na po ba sa ACS ang complete course description? I just requested and they informed me that it will take 2 weeks pa. Good thing meron ako authenticated ng DFA (red ribbon) na CTC ng Diploma at TOR ko dati pa kaya yun na lng ang isscan ko for ACS.

  Ako still in Stage 4.. ang tagal naaaa, but I guess walang choice talaga but to wait. I think medio longer than usual na ito, I mean compared sa ibang post nabasa ko dito, but hopefully the long wait will pay-off. Praying.

  Hi @yukie77 and @rara_avis, sana positive ang assessment sa inyo. Nakaka-kaba yan at kinakabahan din ako kse mag-process din si BF. di pa sya nagpa-assess, we're still gathering his docs. Almost 2-3months tlga result ng ACS so wag msyadong mag-worry

  @katlin924 Sana nga eh, pero di ba ngayon dapat 30 days meron ng result. Mabagal ata sila ngayon dahil sa long Christmas break. BA/SA din ba si BF? yun kasi yung occupation na halos ubos na ang quota. Kaya nga naiinip na ako kasi 206 na lang as of December 31 yung slots sa occupation ko.
