I will be having my interview on 14 Dec.
Nakakatuwa dahil yug mga tao sa thread na ito were people who were discussing about migration before. We have come a long way!
Do you guys have any tips for the interview and exam? Salamat

@GoldSeeker from what my mates told me there are 20 questions multiple
Choice type during the sit in exam. The good news is you have to at least get 15/20 to pass so U won’t go wrong mostly as long as you read the “common bond” material. All the best mate and claim it!

Hello Guys! I just successfully lodged my 16 yo daughter (eldest) in her citizenship application tonight (Perth time). All has left to lodge is my wife on the 1st week of December pa (yun kasi arrival date ni wifey as PR to fulfill the 4 years residency). God bless us all!

I finally got my Citizenship Approval Letter last 23 Nov... exactly after 1 week after mag-reflect sa Immi Account na approved na yung application.

Mukhang mabilis sila lately.. and I have a feeling (fingers-crossed) na mai-invite ako for Citizenship Ceremony on Australia Day 2021... Law of Attraction lang yan hehehe

Finally completed submission of our youngest born daughter (Born in Perth, WA) for "evidence of citizenship" just now. I think mauunahan talaga kami ni baby before us na maging australian citizen hahaha...

Hi guys question lang yung mga vacation ba outside Au(7 weeks) all in all for 4yrs dapat bawiin before mag lodge ng application for Citizenship? need din ba ng NBI/police clearance for all the country na nag stay for at least 1yr(In my case SG COC dahil ang work ako doon)?

if i understand the first question right, as long as less than 1 year ang accumulated days of being outside Au from within 4 years from the date of application. thats fine.

Do I need an overseas penal clearance certificate?
Requirements for applications for Australian citizenship (Conferral, General eligibility or Other situations)
The following requirements apply to the period of time you have held a permanent Australian visa.

You need an overseas penal clearance certificate if:

you lived or travelled overseas since the age of 18 years, and
the total time you spent overseas adds up to 12 months or more, and
the total time you spent in one country adds up to 90 days or more.
If this applies to you, provide an overseas penal clearance certificate from each country where you spent a total of 90 days or more in.

We could also ask you to provide a certificate in other circumstances.

Just received wife’s appointment interview and sit in test schedule this arvo. She is set on the 26th Feb...also do I guys have an idea if my 16 year old daughter shall also be taking the test as well? I also filed her application separately. God is so good!

Hello guys, just completed my Citizenship test yesterday and it went well - passed! Take my advise...just listen to the podcast on “our common bond” before the day of your exam from their website. It will take you less an hour to complete for the 5 module tracks. Just do your part and pray. Good luck to all! Just waiting for the family’s pledge ceremony now. Cheers! 😊
