    Hello, asking for my sister.
Bale may 10 years of O.R. nurse experience sya sa PH. Currently, O.R. nurse din siya sa Singapore and she's been working there for 1.5 years already. Her husband and 2 kids are in PH and iniisip nila na magmigrate dito sa AU since andito na din ako.
Ano po kayang ways para makawork or migrate sya dito? If mag apply siya for AHPRA registration, based on her experience kelangan nya kayang mag bridging program pa?

    1. AHPRA Registration -> Sponsor work from employer -> Apply for PR
    2. Apply for PR -> AHPRA Registration -> Look for employer
    3. AHPRA Registration -> Apply for PR -> Look for employer

Sorry po dami kong tanong. Salamat sa magrereply.

For nurses pag sila ang main applicant, inorder to work in Australia being registered will always be the first step.
To be registered, options are OBA, nursing conversion or via Trans Tasman registration by being registered in NZ first, specially if coming from Singapore.

So based on your provided options:

    1. AHPRA Registration -> Sponsor work from employer -> Apply for PR

possible via 482 visa (temporary), or if employer offers sponsorship to PR visa right away (visa 186)

    1. Apply for PR -> AHPRA Registration -> Look for employer

    not possible if main applicant

    1. AHPRA Registration -> Apply for PR -> Look for employer

possible via General Skilled Migration (visa 189, visa 190) or Regional Sponsored Migration (visa 491) either sponsored by State or by a relative residing in identified regional area.

Hi po. Newbie here.

Original plan ko po kasi is US, but then nagkaron ng OBA so yun na po ang plan ko this time.

pls give me some advice po. Thank you po.

@cucci hi I received my confirmation two weeks ago that I can now take the OBA exam. I will pay the fee and book next week, procrastinating haha. And kaka open lang yata nung testing centre dito sa brisbane. pero I need to review, 2008 graduate ako so need talaga ng revision. IDK anyone else who is going for it atm. It will be nice to know someone else going through the process. I've also prepared my husband that the next step is going to be expensive :(

Hi question po. my wife is an ICU Nurse here in SG and shes under the priority occupations. nagtry na sya mag start ng registration sa AHPRA last June pa. one of the requirements is NCLEX. naipasa na ni wife ko ung NCLEX but 11 yrs ago pa. and she checked na walang expiry yun NCLEX. pero up to 10 yrs lng daw valid sa APHRA ang NCLEX. now antagal nila magreply sa wife ko what to do next. matagal ba talaga magreply ang AHPRA? (btw I have a separate application I have already lodged my EOI. I'm just asking for her  ). thank you po kung may mkakapagadvice.

@cucci yup mas mura. $450 AUD for OBA and $4,000 for OSCE.

@mokV mahigit 2 mos after ko na submit portfolio bago ako nakareceive ng reply from them.

I suggest do the self-check first because english exam will only be needed after OSCE

hello po, first time ko po magpost, I am already here in Au at PR n dn po, nagbabalak po akong magregister as a nurse dto, my recent experience as RN eh last july 2019 sa Singapore, 1year experience lang kasi ako as RN sa Singapore so hindi po ako magquaqualify para sa Trans tasman kasi i should have atleast 2years Sg RN experience.
Sa mga nakapag OBA and OSCE na po dto, anu po ung mga kelangang documents for the assessment? and ganu po katagal bago magbigyan ng referral to OBA nad OSCE, ung referral po ba ay valid for how many months or years? And how was the experience po doing the OBA and OSCE, any idea po? thank you po

If maexpire na ang 2 years validity ng ANMAC, ibig sabihin another skills assessment na naman like sending cogs, reference letter etc.?

I have 2 years experience na hindi na naassess ni Anmac. After kasi ng skills assessment ko, I worked again as company nurse naman this time. Can I claim points for it? Para umabot ng 15 points sa years of experience. Thanks!

Medyo tricky sa area na to... In essence, only Department of Home Affairs has the authority to grant the points for migration.

Hello, i have same situation po with you, na dapat sa US kaso po due to change of plans, i decided to pursue my nursing career at AU, ung partner ko has granted the visa 189 and i’m her defacto po, and now i’m working of being registered sa AU, i do have ATT last year pa inwhich dapat mag-exam na po ako last April 2020 however due to lockdown and travel restrictions till now dipa rin po ako nakakapag-exam sa Pinas.
We are actually flying to AU na this July from SG, and i’m planning na po take exam by end July or first of August
So now po, I’m not sure kung magself check na ba ako or wait till I pass the NCLeX NY.

Actually, nawalan ako ng 5 points sa tears of experience in my EOI this year because it is not within the “past 10 years”. Initially, 15 points na ako eh. (I worked 2009 to 2019 January.) but this year 2021, automatic nagdecrease and ung 2011 upto 2019 lang ang nacredit. Heartbreaking. This covid really makes it hard for us. Hay.

basically kung saan sya mag-apply at matanggap... wala naman legislation limiting kung saan ka mag work as long as you have the qualification at tanggap ka ng employer.

Anyone here preparing for OSCE? I took my NCLEX last 25th March still waiting for results, wanting to prepare for OSCE while waiting. Ang mahal ng fee kng mag enroll in review schools, and most youtube videos are from UK. I'm just wondering if anyone knows more details about OSCE aside from the handbook given by AHPRA. Thank you.

    Hello hello :)

My de facto partner will pursue his Nursing Registration in Australia through OBA..
Ano pong maii-advice nyo?

Then.. Makiki-confirm naman po nitong fees for the whole process and ano pong kulang:
    1. IQNM Assessment Fee 640AUD
    2. NCLEX-RN 200AUD
    3. OSCE 4000AUD

    Hello po..

Can you give me po an overview of the Australian Nurse Registration po? I really have no idea po huhu. I am a medical lab scientist and my defacto partner is a nurse with 10 yrs of work exp. We already had our 189 grant and will have our big move this year too. I don't know where will we start in his nursing career in AU..

    Thank you in advance. :)

    1. Open an account with AHPRA
    2. Submit documentary requirements for assessment
    3. AHPRA will advise as to the next step

Detailed information can be found here -->> https://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/Registration-and-Endorsement/Forms.aspx

You can also backread dito sa forum for some specific information pero since granted naman na ang visa nyo, most of the other details are not needed anymore.

I am on the payment part, got confused on which mailing address should I encode.. we are in the PH right now and our flight is scheduled on July 30 going to Perth.. Hmmm.. Alin po kaya ang mas mainam ilagay as mailing address? Thank you :)

If you already have a place to stay here in Au, use that or you can also ask a friend if you can use their address for the meantime.
