491 SKILLED WORK REGIONAL VISA AND POEA REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT HIRE

  You are not considered OFW so no requirements needed from POEA to travel out of the country.No CFO sticker needed either. Goodluck.

  Nag aalala lang ako kasi nung pumunta ako sa bureau of immigration to inquire sabi nila since “skilled” at hindi PR yung visa ko, need ko raw kumuha ng OEC sa POEA or else di ako makakalusot sa airport.

  Yes, 489 ako...yan yong old equiv ng 491...it just happened na may employer ka na ..you are a skilled migrant not a contract worker kaya di kailangan ng OEC..you dont need CFO kasi di pa PR yang visa mo. In case confused ang immi, explain mo na lang...di kasi sila familiar sa lahat ng mga Au visas.

  You are not required to have an employer for that visa to come here. It just happened nakahanap ka before coming. Its not the business of immigration to scrutinise you on your employment. Remember, hindi ka contract worker kaya hindi ka covered ng OEC requirements.

  Kumuha po kayong travel exemption? Gaano po katagal bago po kayo nakakuha ng Travel Exemption?

  Kumuha po kayong travel exemption? Gaano po katagal bago po kayo nakakuha ng Travel Exemption?

  Yes po. Na grant po yung travel exemption ko about a month after I applied.
