    Hi Everyone!

I'm looking for someone with valuation experience (business valuation, purchase price allocations, intangible asset valuation, etc.) to join our team.

If you're already here in Sydney, that's perfect. But since the market is very tight right now for corporate finance professionals, my employer is open to a remote working arrangement, so okay lang kahit nasa Pilipinas at walang visa. I cannot promise that they will provide sponsorship once borders open but they have a good history of sponsoring so it's possibility.

If you are keen for more details or if you know someone who might be interested, feel free to drop my inbox a message.

    Thanks!

    Good news! Please read below.

A new priority skills list (PMSOL) and strengthened labour market testing will allow small numbers of sponsored skilled workers to return to Australia to fill urgent skills needs in critical sectors, helping to create Australian jobs and rebuild Australia’s economy.

In addition to the 19 below, 22 new occupations have been added to PMSOL on 22 June 2021-
The 22 new occupations are (including ANZSCO codes):

The Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) identifies occupations which fill critical skills needs to support Australia’s economic recovery from COVID-19. The list is based on expert advice from the National Skills Commission and consultation with Commonwealth departments.

Employer sponsored nomination and visa applications with an occupation on the PMSOL will be given priority processing. All other skilled occupation lists will remain active, but the PMSOL occupations will take priority.

The occupations on the Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) were based on advice from the National Skills Commission and consultation with relevant Commonwealth agencies and will be reviewed regularly.

“Visa holders, who have been sponsored by an Australia business in a PMSOL occupation can request an exemption from Australia’s travel restrictions, but will be subject to a strict 14 days quarantine on arrival at their own expense.”

Minister for Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash said the PMSOL would be complemented by strengthened labour market testing requirements.

“In addition to the current requirements of two national advertisements, employers must also advertise their vacancy on the Government’s jobactive website,” Minister Cash said.

Existing skilled migration occupation lists will remain active and visas will still be processed, but priority will be given to those in occupations on the PMSOL.

These 19 occupations (ANZSCO code) are also on PMSOL:

Chief Executive or Managing Director (111111)
    Construction Project Manager (133111)

Anyone here that is already 40yrs old and still would like to apply for PR thru accountant route? Let's say all criterias are met except for the age factor (under 45) but have an AU citizen family member that can sponsor for visa 491. How difficult will it be? What are our options? Thanks!

    Hello po,

Any one here from PUP Manila na kakarequest lang ng syllabus? Pano po ang ginawa nyo?
Ang alam ko kasi online na yung request ng documents at walang naman sa options yong request for syllabus.

    Thank you.

Online nga po ang submission of request, pero only course description is availble sa choices. Nakakuha po kayo ng syllabus?

    Hi everyone!

Hope all of you are doing well and safe during these times. I have recently lodged my EOI (offshore) last August 6, 2020, My partner and I currently have 85 points for subclass 189 and 90 points for subclass 190 (Victoria) with nominated occupation of Engineering Technologist. Because of tough competition, we are more optimistic for the subclass 190 pathway.

    Age = 30 pts (currently 32y)
    Superior english = 20 pts
Overseas skilled employment experience = 10 pts (6y 1 mo)
Education in PH only = 15 pts
    NAATI CCL = 5 pts
Partner competent English = 5 pts

However, due to the current pandemic and most recent Federal budget announcements, we are already managing our expectations that we might not have any progress at all within F.Y. 2020-2021
(or until July 2021). This is sad because I will turn 33y on September 2021 and will be losing 5 points. To prepare, we hope to boost our points in any way we can so we are exploring the partner skills.

What are our chances to have my partner's skill assessed by CPAA if he will nominate his self as general accountant 221111 with education of 4y A.B. Management Economics (Ateneo), 2y MBA (Ateneo).

    "-were under 45 years old
    -had competent English
-had nominated a skilled occupation that is on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated skilled occupation
-had a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for their nominated skilled occupation, and the assessment wasn’t for a Subclass 485 visa."

Any clarification / insights or thoughts po from anyone who have experience acquiring assessment from CPAA would be very helpful and is greatly appreciated po. Thank you po in advance and God bless!

Hi, you need to be under the same field of work (but please double check as well). So if he is under 221111, you should be under the same code either General Accountant, Management Accountant or Taxation Accountant. Me and my husband are both CPA and still in the process of application. This is what I've researched on claiming partner points.

Not necessary under the same code. The partner can have any occupation as long as it’s listed on the same occupation list. Ie if occupation of main applicant is on MLTSSL then partner’s occupation must also be on the same list

From CPA Australia. Would you know if meron nung syllabus si PRC?
