For those applying for 482 visa or has been granted recently, can you share your timeline here please?

Visa Lodged: January 25, 2022
Medical: February 4, 2022
Occupation: Software Engineer
Status: Still waiting grant

Good day! My 482 was granted yesterday lang po..would like to ask those nakaka alis lang if nag-POEA po ba kayo or nag-cross country like via SG or Indonesia po?? I am weighing this thing po kasi baka ma-offload po kasi..TIA sa mga sasagot.

For POEA, in my case yung employer ko na naglakad. Waiting na lang sa visa grant para makapag PDOS seminar na.

If you're leaving via PH.. you definitely need the POEA. Pero if from PH to SG then SG to AU, most likely di yan hahanapin. Pero if may plan ka umuwi ng PH every now and then, parang hassle na wala kang POEA kasi route mo lagi PH to SG to AU.

Hi po..manggagaling po ako dito sa PH..kasi advise nang agent dun sa AU na mag-tourist sa SG then from there to AU na lang daw po kasi hassle daw if mag-POEA pa..

You can do that naman po, and true na if magtourist ka sa SG then to AU, di mo need ng POEA. Ang magiging issue mo lang is if there's an instance na umuwi ka ng Pinas from AU tapos wala kang POEA. SG na lagi entry mo unless ayusin mo ung POEA mo.
