Having most of your family back home and strong employment prospects (after studying) are the typical ties to mention in the GTE. Like if you have a stable job and you've been allowed to go on study leave for 2 years, that can help establish na may babalikan ka talaga sa pinas. Or if you are expected to return home to care for your parents, you can potentially mention that. But keep it as accurate and realistic as possible, don't just make stuff up just to put something in the GTE when you know it's not going to happen.

My comprehensive OSHC (Medibank) was arranged by my uni. Mas mahal ang comprehensive than the basic ones, but I would recommend it because of coverage. So far wala pa naman ako binabayaran sa GP consults, blood tests, and radiology tests.

Hello. May idea po kayo if need ng insurance policy number sa student visa application? Ang school din kasi nag arrange ng insurance ko and they just gave the dates ng start and end ng insurance ko. Its mentioned sa eCOE. But no policy number.
Is it okay to leave the POLICY NUMBER blank sa application?

Yes, it's fine to leave it blank. Just need to indicate the insurance coverage dates and the name of the health insurer. Make sure to tick YES to the question that your education provider has arranged for your insurance.

Thank you so much. 🥹
Kaya po bang magDIY ng student visa application? Or need ko talaga ng agent? Medyo natatakot po kasi ako baka kulang2 yung docs na ipapasa ko or di ko majustify ng maayos yung GTE ko.

I DIY'ed my application twice. As long as you've done sufficient research as to what documents you need, and that you have everything organized correctly, there shouldn't be much of an issue. I think nakalagay rin sa DHA website yung documents na kailangan mo i-upload.
In my case, I uploaded scans of my passport, birth certificate, transcripts, GTE Letter, scholarship offer, and resume. The second time, I uploaded more documents but they were more relevant for a research degree (like research proposal, academic CV).
