Hi. Sana po may makasagot sa tanong ko. Planning to submit CDR + RSEA this June,
5 years working experience as Electrical Engineer (Oct 2015- Feb 2021).
As of the moment 1 year na po akong walang work, magkakaron po ba ng issue sa CDR + RSEA approval kapag wala akong work ngayon? Thanks in advance sa makakasagot!!

Thanks!

Hello Sir DIY lang din po ako.

AFAIK. Individual. Need nyo mag pa assess pareho (if claim points from partner). Not an expert, lets wait sa reply ng iba.

I think separate ang treatment sa assessment nyo.

That’s correct. If claiming partner points, the partner has to have a positive skills assessment.

    2.3 Education
You must provide your degree certificate, official academic
transcript and/or other supporting documents (for example
course syllabus). If you have more than one engineering
qualification, all relevant additional qualifications must be
provided. If you are currently enrolled in any formal
educational program, please upload your enrolment letter
and current transcript if available. Please ensure the name
of the educational institution is entered using the
appropriate upper and lower case letters (for example
    University of New South Wales).

Sabi po dyan: "If you are currently enrolled in any formal
educational program, please upload your enrolment letter
    and current transcript if available"

--Im currently taking my master's degree po but it's management related not engineering. kailan ko pa po ba isama? TIA

    Hello po,
I got a positive skill assessment from EA last December 2021. May I know if required po ba sa state nomination ang Relevant Skill Assessment (counting the years of experience)? TIA.

Thank you po!

I think you can check status sa EA account mo. Also, did you avail fast track or standard lang. kpag standard i think umaabot ng 3mos and kpag fast track 20 working days. I did mine via fastrack and on time nman sila maaga pa ng 2-3 days.

Hello po, new lurker po checking the MSA details. Quick question lang po, yung RSEA po ba is a big factor in finding employer? I understand sa mga comments that it is optional for claiming points for migration purpose curious lang if it has an advantage in job-seeking once visa processes are all okay.

Skills assessment has nothing to do with getting employed, it’s more to do with migration. It’s important not to get migration and employment mixed up.

Hi po thanks sa reply. I understand po this point. But what I mean to clarify is, both po kami ng wife ko kasi are engineers. Since magastos din yung assessment, winiweigh in ko lang ko may other advantage ba yung MSA+RSEA other than pandagdag points? Does that mean po ba, if in case hindi magpa-asses isa sa amin, makakapagpractice parin ng profession?

Hard to provide a more strategic approach without knowing both your background. Usually I would recommend RSEA for both just to make sure there won’t be issues claiming points for work and experience. Also, RSEA isn’t about claiming points for partner skills as the partner doesn’t have to have work experience to get a positive outcome with EA. You do the RSEA for both to widen your chances for an invite since both can be the main applicant on EOI, so whoever gets invited first will be the main applicant - if that makes sense

Hello Sir @nikkolahz it looks like bago palang po kayo sa thread. Kung DIY, while it's good na pineprepare niyo na po yung MSA documents niyo, I would like to tell you po na major requirement yung at least Competent score niyo sa English exam (IELTS (band score of at least 6); PTE (at least 65 score in each component) etc.) bago kayo maging eligible for EA assessment ng misis mo. Madami pong nagsasabi na better to have RSEA para pag nagclaim ng points eh backed by EA assessment. In short, regarding RSEA, decide at your own risk po talaga. Another thing sa RSEA po, medyo challenging dyan na part eh yung proof of employment history (COE, BIR 2316, SSS contributions, etc.). Better po na as early as now, maasikaso na para magawan agad ng paraan yung mga kulang. Pero again, one at a time lang po. Good luck po!

This makes a lot of sense po. Thank you.
I am Electronics Engineer - Going 8 years exp on 1st quarter of 2023
Si wife Chemical Engineer- 8 years working exp.
We are trying to compile documents for MSA.

Good luck po!

tama yung sabi ni Ms. Rhea na once mareach mo din next year yung 8th work anniversary, okay na kayong parehong maging main applicant

I don’t recall stating the above. It’s too early to decide on these things. Get document ready first and then look at options. Everything is speculative without being document ready. Once you’re at the EOI stage, that’s the time to strategise. It’s not just about having the most points, it’s also about the nominated occupation. Some are less competitive than others. Some are more in demand in a particular state over others. There are a lot of factors to consider and there’s no point assessing these things now until you’re ready for EOI because as we all know between now and eoi stage, a lot of things can change still. Deciding now who the main applicant should be is somehow limiting your possible options later. Best to put all the time and energy on skills assessment than weighing all the possibilities. Make things simple, concentrate on your current stage - one step at a time. If you’re trying to address everything at the same time you’ll just get mentally drained out.

    Hey Buddies!

Does anyone here have the same experience with me?

I'm working directly with an Australian company so bale offshore set up siya. Now I lodge my CDR+RSEA and I include this employment to my career episode. Now EA is requesting for a secondary docs for this career episode and they want a document came from a third party entity. Problem is, I have no means in providing such document like SSS, ITR or anything that will prove my employment with the Aussie company since di nman tlaga yun possible to reflect in my SSS/ITR since they are not a local employer here sa PH.

    Ano po kaya pwede gawin?

Actually that’s a big problem. Maybe bank statements? Which can prove na they are paying you. But i’m not if this would be enough. This is also one thing i considered when i wrote my CDR-RSEA if i could provide all the necessary supporting details and data for each career episodes.

I tried to send a DTI businessname registration to them and series of invoices and remittance advice. hopefully maging positive ang response. Its already on the second day since I provided those docs wala pa naman response for clarification so far

Meron naman ako 1 year experience as structural engineer.

Vetassess and EA do not talk to each other. As long as you meet the criteria and submit all relevant documents they ask for, I don’t see why you need to worry about it.

I always tell my clients to leave that address blank - it’s generic so can be used anywhere. If I was you’re agent I won’t advice to use it for obvious reasons - vetassess isn’t engineers Australia and vice versa. Hope that helps.

Ilan po points niyo ba pag CE Draftperson yung nominated occupation (NO)? Tama po ba ko iniisip pag nag-CE kayo na NO c/o EA eh wala kayo maclaim na points for work expi? O subukan niyo din paassess?
