hello po
paxenxa po sa paulit ulit na post. pa advice po sana..
arrival namin sa sydney is this august 26, 2022 as visa 482, by then i will update my EOi as Onshore, will this affect my 189 invite?
and yun EOI ko is ma-expire this september 22, 2022. so do i need to lodge before then?
magrerequest pa yata ako ng AUS PCC upon arrival baka irequire ito sa visa lodgement since Onshore na kami.

You've been invited for 189 already so your EOI is already locked. Hindi ka na pwede magpalit ng details mo dun.
Come to think of it, baka hindi na pala applicable yung inputs ko earlier since magkakaron ka pala ng change of circumstance since magiging onshore ka na. Maybe best wait for others na same experience as yours, or baka si ma'am Rhea can provide a definitive response to your queries.

invited ka na di ba? locked na yung EOI mo ang alam ko so hindi mo na ma-update yun. the EOI expiry wont matter anymore as well.
just go on with your move, then lodge mo na yung visa agad agad pag may chance ka before the invite expiry, once approved yung 189 mo it will just supersede your 482.
check mo na lang rin ito https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/change-in-situation/contact-details since change of address ang mangyayari sayo since magiging onshore ka na. BUT i believe you can only do that after you've lodged your 189 visa.
kung hihingan ka ng Aus PCC then go for it. just do it mate! pero first step is to lodge the visa.
baka meron rin pang inputs dyan yung iba hehe.

Hi everyone,
I just need an advice on my wife's case. So my wife was assessed initially by ANMAC as surgical Nurse and submitted her EOI-189 4 months ago. But she had to apply for a change of occupation code after 2 months as Nurse NEC because her current employer who is currently in the initial stages of processing her 186 visa requested her to do so to match their requirements. She forgot to update her EOI occupation code thinking that she has no chance of getting the invite. Yesterday, my wife received a 189 invitation for that EOI (Surgical nurse). My question is, should she request for a change of occupation code again (Nurse NEC to Surgical) so that it could match her 189 invitation? Would appreciate your advice and insight on our situation. Thanks everyone.

pwede ka mag update ng details sa online immigration account mo instead sa EOI kasi nga naka lock na un. and then attach ka ng cover letter saying na you are na sa AU, explain mo lang na pumasok ka dito using 482, but before arrival here, you received an 189 invitation. always remember - YOU NEED TO INFORM immigration for any changes of your details.

sorry mejo magulo and reply ko. HAHAHAHA. ngayon ko lang na realise na may ample time ka pa to lodge it and andito ka na nun. to make it simple, kapag magla-lodge ka na ng 189 application, through online.immigration account un (within 60 days of receiving the invite - hindi to naka anchor sa expiry date ng EOI mo) and yep - attach ka lang ng cover letter mo explaining that before you got here, you received an invite for 189 resulting to change of address and contact details. you don't need to include the changes resulting from your AU job kasi i'm pretty sure hindi mo un sinama nung nag EOI ka for 189, though pwede mo banggitin sa cover letter mo but emphasise na no points are being claimed from this AU job.
for PCC - well, depende to kung i contact ka ng CO mo, then lumampas ka ng 12 months dito sa AU. then need mo kumuha

Mostly talaga mga medical occupations. Sana next round considered na other occupations.
When it comes to the frequency of rounds, may updates ba kung ano na yung magiging arrangement? It doesn't make sense kasi kung on a quarterly basis pa rin, given na late na sila nagsimula.

Malay natin maybe next month di ba. Bigla ka mainvite. Kakaumpisa palang. Pero yung 65 pointers, indemand talaga kasi maraming construction, maraming teachers, nurses na naburnout kasi kulang ang staff. Depende talaga sa occupation skills na bakante as a whole. Yung target state like 190 and 491 State Sponsored, apply lang malay natin pasok ang occupation and monthly pa ang invites.
Pero syempre gamble yan kung ano pipiliin mo kung nauna ang 491, pero antayin mo pa ang 189 and 190. Hindi lang naman pinoy nakikipagcompete sa buong mundo para sa invite na yan. Factor in pa yung mga nakapila ang pending. Mamaya bubulaga sa iyo ang 189 invite just like Civil draftperson.
Make sure yung mga EOI ay updated and valid sa circumstances, skill assessment and english exam. Useless ang invite kasi marerefuse lang kung di updated at the time of invite.

i suggest AU PCC - saka mo na kunin kapag hiningan ka ng CO mo - malay mo hindi ka hingan kasi i process agad visa application mo less than a year. mabilis lang to makuha, like 2 weeks? online processing lang sya.
ung sa dubai, depende kung gano katagal makuha. kasi baka kumuha ka, then mag expire bago ka pa hingan ng CO.
lol, i know medyo contradicting ung two statements ko - but it boils down kung kelan ka ba hihingan ng CO mo, as these docs are time sensitive. sayang kasi bayad kung hindi mo magagamit or mag expire lang

and also, medyo mahal ang PR 189 ha? $4,240 for main applicant. make sure you consider this lalo na bago ka pa lang pupunta dito but you only have 60 days to apply. but hopefully, may ipon ka to fund this and for your dependent. pero dapat hindi ko na pinapakialaman un. hahaha

2021 Oct - Applied for VISA (Submitted all documents) - set aside money for this long time ago, para hindi masakit sa bulsa
2021 Nov - Medical check (result was released a week after - still November)
2022 Apr - PR 190 granted xoxo

pano ba usually invitation round... one day lang sya nagsend out ng invitations or several days sila nag-iinvite on an invitation round?

wala, random.
May invite ngayon, pwedeng meron ulet bukas, pwedeng next month na, pwedeng next year na ulet, or pwede ding wala na. Sila lang nakakaalam kung kelan magiinvite hehe.
