Hi! Newly registered and hopeful for a grant ) tanong ko lang kung may trend po ba kung kelan magkakaroon ng grant after magrequest ng CO ng Form 80? Ibang visa naman po yung sakin, Visa 476 - Recognised Graduate Visa.

Eto na po kasi naging timeline ko:

Re-medical/Police certificate Request: Dec 23, 2021
Re-medical/Police certificate submission Date: January 24, 2022 / January 13, 2022

fee 4,240 aud + .014*(4,240)(Mastercard/Visa Card). Baka kasi magrant ang 491 bago 189. Kaya better withdraw.

Kung naapprove na ang 491 application mo, hindi mo na pwedeng iapply ang 189. So dapat magdecide. If may extra money, go for 189.

If you decide to go for 491, ang difference lang magbabayad ka ng visa fee pagkatapos ng 3 years for 191 visa amounting to $385 aud for main applicant + $195 aud for each adult. Stay for 1 year and apply ka ng citizen kasabay mo na ang mga 189 and 190.

So kung 491 withdraw and apply 189, assuming magisa ka lang ha.

Ito ang gastos mo (4,240 * 2)+ (0.014 * 4,240 x 2) = 8,598.72 aud

if Go for 491, then apply ka ng 191 for 1 year.
(4,240 + 385) + 0.014(4,240 + 385) = 4,689.75 aud

@tigerlance , hello po. Hindi po kaya risky kung may invitation both for 491 and 189 tapos ay ang piliin at ilodge ay 189? From the DHA website po kasi, 90% of applicants ay umaabot ng 45months ang processing time. Sa 491 naman po ay 12months.

Hello, thanks po for the response. so bale around 6.4k AUD (visa fee) + 89.04 AUD (charges), yan po magiging total? Saka may idea po kayo magkani naging exchange rate?

Basta hindi pa granted ang 491, you can apply for 189.
Pero parang yung iba dito kasi bumibilis ang visa grant ng 189 kasi completo na lahat yung hindi na naCO contact. Yung tipong, visa grant ready na. Basta syempre pag may extra money, go for 189. Kasi malaki rin
ang pocket money mo dito ha. like mahirap magapply ng rental property dito. syempre kung lagi ka sa fast food mahal rin, saka mahal rin ang food dito when converted into pesos. Syempre yung pera mo naiconvert from peso sa aud.

Kung wala ka work and alam nila na aalis ka. Malaki problem yan, Dapat visa granted ka na pwede ka na umalis sa work
Depende rin kasi kung wala ng CO contact, mapapabilis rin ang application mo. Spoonfeed all the docs as you can yung di nagtitipid sa docs basta applicable sa iyo. Kasi bawat drop down menu sa lodging dapat iprovide mo sa kanila kung applicable. Ang risk lang, NO REFUND. and syempre mahabang patience rin pag tumagal.

@tigerlance , hello po. Hindi po kaya risky kung may invitation both for 491 and 189 tapos ay ang piliin at ilodge ay 189? From the DHA website po kasi, 90% of applicants ay umaabot ng 45months ang processing time. Sa 491 naman po ay 12months.

for perspective, naggrant ang 491 ng around 6 months. May friends ako na onshore engrs lately na ganyan ang time frame. Ako back in 2020 nagapply, 6 months grant din so hope this helps!

Tingin ko mas ok na magpa medical na po kayo since mabilis ang approval ngayon, para hindi na maCO contact incase na ok na lahat ng docs niyo.

Pero parang yung iba dito kasi bumibilis ang visa grant ng 189 kasi completo na lahat yung hindi na naCO contact. Yung tipong, visa grant ready na. Basta syempre pag may extra money, go for 189. Kasi malaki rin
ang pocket money mo dito ha. like mahirap magapply ng rental property dito. syempre kung lagi ka sa fast food mahal rin, saka mahal rin ang food dito when converted into pesos. Syempre yung pera mo naiconvert from peso sa aud.

Kung wala ka work and alam nila na aalis ka. Malaki problem yan, Dapat visa granted ka na pwede ka na umalis sa work

Solo pa lang po kasi ako ngayon kaya mas ok sana yung mas mabilis na processing ng visa para makasunod na agad family ko and to avoid na din po paying expensive tuition for my student visa.

@MLBS , onshore na din po ako. Mas may assurance po talaga ata sa 491 na mas mabilis ma-grant. Halos same din naman ang benefits compared sa 189. Mas prefer lang po sana ang 189 para may chance din na makapag-sponsor kami ng relatives. Salamat po.
