Hi, I am invited by my next employer for a training in Sydney for 10days, pero i am still employed in my current employer dito sa pinas. Can I apply for the tourist visa kahit yung purpose is for bootcamp?

I believe yes. May conditions na connected per visa type and, if I remember correctly, you can use a Tourist Visa for training of no more than 3 months. Look into a 407 Training Visa din para sure.

Where can I check po ung training of no more than 3 months? Check ko din ung 407 Training Visa. Thank you so much!

Not sure lang ah. Ako, for my Tourist Visa, I just scanned my passbook statements. And ang ginawa kong estimate is 10k per day sa Australia, para sure.

Might be case to case basis yung amount. Upload mo na rin siguro yung proof from company na may training and na sponsores nila ang food and accommodation. For sure meron yan silang details kung saan ang accommodation. Upload mo na rin yun.

Bale, the best rule for me, if may documents ka and it only helps solidify na kaya mo sa Australia during your stay and you will return to the PH, upload mo.

    Good luck!

Di po ba mag conflict if may invitation letter ang company then tourist visa ung naka lodge? :)

Yan ang di ko alam, kaya minention ko rin yung Training Visa kasi parang yun ang mas tugma sa purpose ng visit mo. However, no personal experience with it eh kaya di rin ako makapag-provide ng further insight 😅 If mag-tourist visa ka, probably better to keep it tourism-oriented.

Madali na lang yan :) For my application last year, I was expecting to wait 3 months bago makuha ang outcome. Ended up taking just 3 weeks, and I was a first-time applicant.

You can check here: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/visitor-600/tourist-stream-overseas. Seems like bumilis na, about a month. Last year, it would take anywhere between 3–6 months eh.

    Hello po,

Tatanong la po sana if pag nag apply ba ng tourist visa for a minor pero yung tatay hndi naka pirma sa birth certificate at since pregnancy wala po ang tatay kailangan parin po ba ng consent or any affidavit saying you have all the rights to present sa immigration when applying my kid a visa.?

    Maraming salamat po sa sasagot.

from my simple understanding of the instructions in Form 1229, since you are "solely responsible for making decision where the child should live" you can attach the birth certificate highlighting there is no entry on the father side.

No, please don't work on a visitor visa, usually may "No work" conditions na attached dyan if granted ka. Before you can even get work, employers will ask about your visa situation. Depends sa kanila if they would sponsor you for a valid and legal work visa, but again that depends on the employer, not really something you can impose I don't think.
