    a) Just bring Carry On and Laptop Bag. Bring also Pillow, doon mo ilagay yung mga extra damit.

Mas mura yun kasi in pesos pag nasa Pilipinas kayo, kung doon na mismo sa airport and Qantas pa, in AU na presyo and standard price.

    d) Kung may extra money ka naman, go for business class. Mala sky is the limit ang pera.

    • Medyo mahirap ang suggestion A sa budget airline kasi strict sila sa carry on.

Hi po. The earlier the better po ba ang pag BM? My visa was granted last Dec 2022 and ang enter before date ko ay Dec 2023 pa naman kaso plan ko mag BM this August pa since wala akong relatives doon and need ko pa mag ipon. May effect po ba yun sa citizenship timeline if ever? Thanks

Citizenship eligibility will start from the time that you are physically resident in Australia (not from the time your PR visa is granted and you are still offshore). So if you're doing BM in August, your eligibility for citizenship will be around August 2027. If you plan to save up for the BM and need more time, you can keep working and just do BM in November if you'd like to have a lot more pocket money.

Depends sa inyo. For us, 1.5 months after the grant dadating sa Australia.

Others also tend to arrive later kasi for more funds na dadalhin. Which is a good reason especially mag aadjust ka dun ng bongga. Need money for house car and also job hunting.

"When you apply you must have been:

    • living in Australia on a valid visa for the past 4 years
    • a permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen for the past 12 months
    • away from Australia for no more than 12 months in total in the past 4 years, including no more than 90 days in total in the past 12 months."

    Source: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/become-a-citizen/permanent-resident#Eligibility

I believe there is no info or rules about a limit of 3 months per year (for the first 3 years), only cumulative absence of maximum 12 months in that 4 years, and no more than 90 days in the 4th year. So you could technically spend 4-6 months away in the first two years, and not traveling at all in the 3rd to 4th year. If you plan to travel outside of Australia often, you'll have to be conscious of your travel history, as that can affect (delay) your citizenship eligibility.

Hi sa lahat po na nag-BM na, ask ko lang if enough na ang 7000 AUD as pocket money? Makikitira po ako sa ate ko so ang need ko nalang ang daily expenses for job hunting and emergency money.

should be good enough, ang pinakamasakit lang naman na bayarin dito is rent. Kung libre ka sa sis mo 7k should hold you off for a few mos. Cheers!

Question naman po sa mga past unsuccessful stories, pagka BM sa AU tapos di nakakuha ng work for longer time, may support bang makukuha sa government para sa mga 491, 190 visa holder?

Or umuwi na lang muna kayo O imposible namang walang makuhang work if qualified ka naman as per skills qualification.

Some people get a survival job to pay the bills, while continuing to apply for a job that is aligned with their skills.

Walang benefit sa 491 from gov. When it comes sa work dito it all depends on your skill, opportunity and luck. Some people I know found work ASAP, others took 3-6 mos. No way to know until you come here yourself. It's all a risk so be aware of what can happen here and manage expectations lang.

Good day po! For 491 visa holders, meron po sa inyo na nag-stay muna for more than a month sa city bago nagmove sa regional? Kasi yung pinsan ko po (not my spon sa visa) ay nag-offer na dun muna ako tumuloy sa kanila (SYD) while looking for jobs sa NSW regional. Salamat po sa sasagot.

Yes pwede to. I had a friend na parang 2 mos muna nag stay sa Sydney then lumipat ng regional VIC. Very timely ang lipat nya kasi as soon as she got to VIC, nagsend na ang immi asking about her current residency details - chinecheck kung nasa regional na sya. So this should be something you need to be aware of.

My case is, my 491 was granted in Oct 2020 but I only got that email asking for my residency details in July 2021. So medyo random ata ang timeframe on when they send this request of info. For me tho nasa WA na talaga ako ever since for the last 4 yrs (whole state is regional) so hindi ko to naging problema.

Ang reqts lang naman sa 191 is eto:

    1. Live and work in a regional area for 3 yrs
    2. Earn the income threshold 53900 AUD for 3 yrs

Kung nasundan mo yang 2 yan you should be good. Hopefully not too long haha.
